About this creation
I don't consider this to be a 'canon' Kelvini vehicle, as it has no backstory, no real place in the country (what need does an isolationist empire have for a long-range supersonic strategic bomber?)
anyway, the story behind it is that I saw, somewhere on brickshelf, a microscale model of the XB-70 Valkyrie. my interest in it was suddenly rekindled, so I set about making a minifig version... I rapidly realized that there was not enough space in my room for such a creation (the XB-70 had a crew of 4), nor did I have anywhere NEAR enough white plates and wings. so it became grey, 2 seats... and I still can't figure out a landing gear system that I can accept >.<
so there it sits, on it's pylons, crew valiantly going nowhere... probably not long for this world, though...

so, about the landing gear... I wanted to put some in, I really did. what it came down to, though, was that I couldn't fit something in that would look right in context. simply put, the standard lego landing gears just look awful supporting a behemoth like this. I designed some multi-wheel bogies, but I can't fit them in and have bomb bays as well. if somebody can figure out something, let me know.

"are we there yet?"
"no."
"are we there yet?"
"no!"
"are we there yet?"
"!!! look at your radar screens and stop bugging me, or so help me I WILL turn this bomber around."
