The background image was found here.

The Aquashark returns, a remake of an old design (link).
I'm currently in a submarine (submersible) phase.
(I still need supporters for my Cuusoo submarine project and I'll keep making submarines just to promote this project ;)). (This one is at Cuusoo as well).

The Aquashark is a one-person submersible constructed for destroying larger seacraft. It's armament compromises two mini torpedoes and a double harpoon cannon for penetrating the hull of enemy ships.
The Aquashark's autonomity is restricted, it depends on a larger seacraft or a base for refueling and maintenance.
Because of it's small size and material it is constructed from it can easely slip through enemy radar. Because of its shape it can even fool visual by pretending to be a shark.
This is the prototype, the variant to be used for action would be painted in more appropriate colors (black and white) to enhance its invisibility underwater.

But frankly I like it better in yellow.

It might not look like it but compared to the old design it has improved pretty much, the gills are now smoothly incorporated in the flanks, the tail is more streamlined and the tailfin has a better shape.
It's also fitted with a proper 'mouth' (which is made from a car spoiler by the way).
I think the only flaw it still has is the black hingeplate on the tail, if I could just find a yellow one that would look so much better.

There's not much space in the interior but still enough for a minifigure to fit in, one could even have a helmet or hairpiece if I would remove the tiles on the seat.

I envision it to be stationed in a secret underwater base with the objective to intercept and destroy all unauthorized submarines passing by or as a defense unit.

It still has the nose hatch, It used to house a laser cutter but it could as well be used as a storage compartiment (for maybe smuggling some goods).

Comparison with classic Aquashark:

I recently bought the Shark's Crystal Cave, I'm not really a collector, this is just nostalgia.

I hope you like it, don't forget to support my submarine at Cuusoo, it's a design I'd love to build in real bricks but the parts just don't excist in the colors I need.

For more (raw) pictures check out my Brickshelf Gallery
The aquashark is referred to as "alpha shark" in my Brickshelf Folder

The LDD version looks slightly different, the backfin and tail to be more specific.

Quoting victor ganier hello, can you make a tutorial of it?
I just uploaded the Lego Digital Designer file (at the end of the page), it's not exactly the same as the original though (alternate tail and backfin).

The underwater base and launch rail were both great touches, and the car fender as a mouth was brilliant!
