A Few of my Favorite Things
After hours of failed concept MOCs and trying to figure out what things I like to do would work in LEGO, I decided to bend the intent of the "minifig mission" to include five activities I enjoy in one, eye-catching MOC.
About this creation

Thanks to Mr. Lego for the Mission!

Frisbee. When and wherever. Probably the only thing that keeps me sane in high school :P

Cycling. I ride my bike 4 miles to school (and 4 coming back), and of course ride often on weekends.

Swimming, but i'm not one of those crazy people who swim in unheated outdoor pools in January, though to me there's no feeling like being underwater :)

Ice hockey. I've taken a 5 year hiatus, but starting this summer i'm coming back to it. I can't wait :D

Last but not least, being in my happy place. Once I sat in the snow staring at the sky for nearly four hours before I realized I had been laying down.

And before you ask...no, I don't lift.

Close-ups!

First, you can probably see how I attached the frisbee. I swear, I was trying to wedge the disk in that (my) hand for like an hour and a half with everything from small teeth to rubber bands before I thought of clips. -__- <----- me when I thought of using the piece I ended up using

You can't really tell, but the legs aren't black, they are actually jeans. I love 'em!

I am pretty happy with how I made a half-submerged minifig, and very happy with my lane line technique :)

Off the base so you can see me better.

As simple as it looks, this is actually quite startlingly close (in aesthetics and scale) to what an actual, full hockey bag looks like!

*BONUS MOC*
I don't really pole vault, and I wouldn't be caught dead with that haircut, but I would probably have that look on my face if I ever found myself in that situation XD

Thanks for looking!

Only one day after this MOC was posted, it was on the homepage!!!

No! That's my point - I just lie there. Doing absolutely...nothing. Not even thinking.
