Plymouth AAR Cuda'
About this creation
The Plymouth All American Racers, was a race car built to compete against Mustangs in the SCAA series, it only raced in the 1970 season. The rules said that they must have a certain amount of road versions (the regular Cuda didn't count). The main differences between a regular Cuda and an AAR, is that it only had a choice of the 340 six-barrel engine, it had aerodynamic additions (duck tail and eyebrow spoilers). It also had some weight reduction, the exhuast pipes on the side, and a working hood scoop.

This LEGO model has over 700 parts, is in a nice (and expensive) lime green and black color scheme. features detailed interior, exterior, and engine. functions include opening trunk, hood with hood-pins, doors, and windshield wipers.

Hope you like it, and have a nice day!
PS. how's the photography?

Quoting clayton Marchetti Awesome car ! No I have no plans on leaving mocpages I made a bunch of new friends and one new brother. It was only because I keep building things from old shows! I guess I'll have to work on a new name hand no idea that others used it thanks for telling me. why do they pick that name before they leave?
Thanks! Good, you're a great builder, and it would suck to lose you :-) Well, because all there MOCs are old, I guess.

Quoting Rick S. It still looks way too much like mine, but at least you gave credit. :) I tink the interior needs a little more work. Anyway, I have some videos of my cars on YouTube. Check it out here: http://www.youtube.com/user/sparcomonroe
Really? i didn't think it looked much like yours at all after i changed the front! I think the pics don't do the interior justice :/ buy i'll see if i can improve parts. I checked out your videos :) It looks like your cars are easier to open up! I acutally have lots of problems with the trunk on this one, but I blame the lack of hinges in lime!

Thanks! Well the car had a very basic interior, many with only one color.

OK. If i were you i would get on your old account and tell everyone who added you as a fav builder that you made a new account.

Quoting Sven Bode & Jens Matuschek Lime! I guess I have to get some lime pieces for new projects as it looks "extrordinary"... as does you Cuda! Great car! Best, Jens
Haha, thanks! :D I actually have a good amount of lime parts :) I'd suggest the Power Mech set http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Power-Mech-31007, it's one of my favorite sets for parts :)

Quoting David Roberts I really like the way that you've used colour on this car, especially the way that the green goes up onto the lid of the boot. I also like the curved parts along the bottom of the door and the shape it gives. A great looking vehicle.
Thanks! the color was from the actual car: http://files.myopera.com/GMarz/albums/657032/1970%20Plymouth%20AAR%20Cuda%27%201.jpg it seems there was only one or two green ones with the black roof choice

Thanks guys! here's a WIP shot of my next MOC http://www.flickr.com/photos/legonoitallmocs/8749160636/in/photostream Alexander: If you want i could add the Mods to the LDD version, so you could order parts, but i'd doubt you get it in lime (adds A LOT to the price, in fact there were some 1x1 round plates where there were supposed to be square, but i needed 10, which would have cost my $25 plus shipping!!!), and of course i'd doubt you'll do it anyway ;)

Quoting matt rowntree Great Cuda! Perfect colors (of course the engine is orange!) As for the new Lambo, I was wondering if it came in white with a big red "M" on the hood!?!
sorry, looked into it, it's only a concept car, nobody is gonna get one (unless you build one that is;), is the M for Matt???) Thanks! sure was expensive getting lime and orange! (ended up getting a lot of extra lime, from a few things that i couldn't resist getting, and since some parts weren't available on BL yet, i had to get the set. (in this case 2 of these: http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Power-Mech-31007)
