Traxxus is now selling its new line of APC-2 Aardvark APC's. With room for 6, and interchangeable turrets it can perform many different roles. The base model is equipped with two nose mounted GAU-7 7.62 miniguns, and a target acquiring sentry gun, but can be modified with a tank destroyer turret, IFV turret, or AA twin gatling turret to protect convoys from aerial attack. They have reactive armor and are also mine-proof, and can deflect the blast of about 5 AT mines before being rendered undriveable. The top speed of the base model is 120MPH give or take some with different turrets and the nose is hardened for ramming through walls and gates. They are also air tight and waterproof, and are thusly impervious to extreme heat, radiation, and biological attacks.
The RCV-25 Grizzly is a two man urban combat vehicle. It's ideal for anti infantry, patrol, and crowd control, as well as convoy support. It contains IR-smoke emitters, radar jamming, and various proximity scanners as well as beam scanning for its retractable ATGM launchers. For light armament has two nose mounted machine guns, and one tail mounted machine gun. The IFV variant has a roof mounted heavy cannon for blasting away cover, "dispersing crowds,"or taking out vehicular threats. Both variants have a top speed of 185MPH (230 with 10 second jet thruster) and get 58 miles to the gallon on average using its hybrid flex fuel system.
First off, these vehicles turned out quite well, their forms are top-notch and the inspiration is obvious. Anyway, I don't think you can say the mako can survive 5 anti-tank mines as that's not how things work in real life. It might tank a dozen or it might go down to just one, there are too many variables to make a blanket statement like that.
Sorry I havenít comment on these sooner, They are great. I love the Ardvark. The mako was considered by a few people to be a relatively boring gameplay aspect in mass effect 1, but I still havenít gotten around to playing the game. I personally think The mako looks really cool though. Aside from that the shape is sturdy, and I like the interchangeable turrets. batmobile is also fantastically detailed, but for sheer "OMG its the batmobile" Iím not sure I would have built it myself XD.
