Quoting Abby Francis Hahaha, awesome! You are amazing, David!
Thanks Abby. This is fun one that never really got that much attention.

Quoting Gale Winthrope A charming little build with a dash of British humor. Perfect. :)
Felt a bit Beatles animation to me.

Quoting Topsy Creatori (StoveTopCreator!) What I like about this is that the heads are built the same. It is simply your use of color that changes their identity! The torsos are also built with almost the same pieces... it's again color with a reversal in piece placement that again establishes identity! Cool! :)
They came from memories of childhood books. I'm tending to move away from PU and clever techniques to graphic use of bricks.

Fantastic shaping, and the use of red is very effective.

Quoting Nick Barrett I like Matt Rowntree's suggestion :-) a fun moc full of character.
That's what I'm enjoying most at the moment, making characters. Thanks Nick.

Quoting Tim C Just brilliant. This one gives me a good chuckle. Makes me immediately think of a silent movie. The outfits of the two characters in this single-frame production are so stereotypical of that era. I feel like I should be seeing overdone expressions on their faces, pronounced gesticulations, and way-too-fast piano music playing in the background. The next scene should be the robber in the yard with a ball and chain around his ankle, breaking rocks with a hammer that's way to small for the job;) Great work, David.
Glad you got my silent film reference. Very much part of the work I was making for the MOCathalon.

Quoting David Roberts A MOC that is full of character, yet mainly flat and black, which instantly brought a smile to my face. Very cleverly done! The shape are brilliant, especially the helmet and truncheon. I like how the mouths go all of the way across the faces, like the stripes on the burglar's jumper. I also noticed that he's been caught red-handed! (Sorry, couldn't resist!)
Red handed, love it.

Quoting matt rowntree Love the faces! Reminds me of the Canadians on South Park. Should make one with the robber being knocked out with the truncheon. "X"s for eyes like the old cartoons or silents. Good stuff.
I hadn't realised I'd borrowed the South Park mouth, but I'm glad I did.
