This is a classic car I used to build when I was a kid. After constructing these type of cars, my brothers and I would race them on our street to see how far they would go. Needless to say many models ended up strewn on the street, but this one never did! Now my kids follow in my footsteps!
About this creation
The rear axel is a "uni-axel" - two separate axels joined together. This helped the car maintain direction when heaved down the street. The length of the car was important- the longer it was, the less of a bounce on the front end, thus the car would continue in the desired direction.
