BSF-32.2 "Coatl"
ArcheoGenis' brand new biomechanical space fighter will bring the fight to a whole new level!
About this creation
The Bio Space Fighter 32.2 "Coatl" is a light weight, short range space fighter.

It's usually employed as a complement to capital ships or space bases, as it is not capable of atmospheric flight. Because of the shape and size, enemy forces often refer to all BSF-30 class fighters as "Mosquitoes".

The Coatl features all the usual ArcheoGenis technologies, like regenerative structure and Bionite coating. Its "wings" are power panels, used to recharge the Core.

It's powered by a Brain Core and co-piloted by an EAP (Evolved Artificial Personality). Command units are sometimes equipped with a Psi-array, if the pilot requires it.

It's armed with a double Stream Gun and a De-Molecularizer on its stinger, and its "beak" can inject disruptive nanobots into hull breaches of any size. It's protected by extensive Power Shields. Because of the high energy requirements, the Coatl's autonomy in combat is below the standards of other fighters of similar class.

Blacklight!

Note #1: I wanted to do something new, so I tried out some of those annoying angles I've been seeing around.
Note#2: no, it's not easy to change configuration. It slides quite easily into position, but those 1x1 with hinge that hold the canopy are hard to move.

Quick get the bug spray! Great job Yuri. Actually your ship looks very much like a mosquito larva minus the wings, trust me I know, it's my job! Keep up the great work friend.

Quoting LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist Man, you exploit blacklight like mills exploit trees! Brilliant build with some sweet photgraphy.
I decided I won't build anything that won't light up. It's simply too freaking cool.

A strange and wonderful shape, plus that trans-fluro-green contrasting with the grey. The balck light photo works really well. You can imagine swarms of these plaguing some big spaceship, buzzing around it and being swatted at. Nice design and building.

Quoting Clever Crowe Wonderfully bio-organic, Yuri. I have to say, I actually don't recognize some of the smooth trans-green tiles you used as accents (that 1 X curved one on the underbelly, for example) but they are NICE. Insectile, creepy, and great! =)
Thank you :) Here, it's this one http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30602

Quoting Toa Infernum Awesome job Yuri! I love the shaping! Great work! :)
Well, don't count on many more like this, I usually build stuff so that it could be played with by kids, that's why my MOCs use more "solid" techniques.
Quoting Mihe Stonee this looks fantastic ! And for the 1x1 with hinges - i think if you would put a normal 1x1 between them it could be easier to move the canopy...
But the part would become too wide. Oh well, in the end, how often would I need to transform it? lol
