Thor , god of Thunder midifigure
Avengers Assemble - one of earth's mightiest heroes....
About this creation
Its Thor the god of Thunder! My newest superhero midifig! Like my other midifigs this guy is super poseable and the scale of a standard old school, off the shelf action figure (3 3/4"). He will be joined by more avengers in the coming weeks! I hope you will have as much fun viewing these as I had building them!

never was a big thor fan growing up.
Quoting Sam Sanister According to Norse mythology, the maker of that hammer had been disrupted for just a second by a shapeshifter wishing to sabotage the hammer. The maker was distracted long enough to make sure the handle was a little too short, and there was no time to make another one. Yours actually looks a little too long. I was making a joke, but I had been assuming you knew about the hammer's origins.

Quoting Sam Sanister Impressive as always, but the hammer's handle seems a little bit short, know what I mean?

AGREED! (as far has the head that is.) Good, but I still think a better version could be accomplished...although, a cool figure. -Brick Boy

These midifigs are great fun. I like the big hammer too, looks suitably cartoon proportioned!

still miles ahead of the official minifig
Quoting JS Can Like, but as others said, head = too small, hammer = too big

This looks pretty cool! I love the armor design. As for the cape, maybe try adding some hinge plates to his back so that it can look like it's flapping. Also, I think that hammer is WAY too big! Other than that, I like this.

u know by now I won't cheat with a non lego cape - I have found a few sails and dragons wings from official sets but they are too big for the scale - however my upcoming magneto will use one of these official lego elements in an upcoming post. if u look closely you'll see it in my other post from today
Quoting Declan Muller The cape looks a little flat, but the rest is just epic! Maybe try using an old t-shirt and cut it out to make a real cape, like most bionicle MOCers do...

Awesome fig! I like the proportions, especially the hammer. Did you think about going with some tapered slopes for the cape? Like Cougar's bed in my most recent episode? ;)

actually if u look at your oldschool action figs the head is just right its the hammer and shoulder pads I think that skews the proportions!
Quoting Deus "Big D." Otiosus That tiny head looks so weird... I think miniland head would look better.

I like the use of the big wing piece for his cloak and how his body is in proportion to his minifig head. That's strange when you consider the size difference between this MOC and a mini-fig: skillful building!
