J-12 Arrow
The J-12 is a light high speed interceptor aircraft capable of reaching speeds of mach 7. the J-12 can carry multiple types of missiles and bombs and comes equipped with a single 30mm nose mounted cannon.
About this creation

The J-12 fighters are unique planes because they do not require air intakes which allows them to fly at extremely high altitudes. the J-12 can fly at speeds of mach 7 making it one of the fastest aircraft in service. but due to its small size and massive engine the J-12 can only fly for 2 hours at maximum speed before running out of fuel.
specifications:

crew: 1
payload: 4500 kg
wingspan: 27 feet
height: 13 feet
weight(empty): 6,000 kg
maximum speed: mach 7
powerplant: MK 29 jet engine
combat radius: 500 km
armament: 1 30 mm cannon, 7 hardpoints

The J-12 is capable of carrying multiple types of bombs and missiles

J-12 fighters are sometimes called "rocket with a man on top"

This is fantastic! Reminds me of a Eurofighter. Looks very swooshable too, great work.

Quoting Alex Sonny I care not dor technical details, this is LEGO and you can build just about whatever you want ^^(that's why I don't add technical details to my builds). It looks fast sleek and powerful and that's what matters :) PS. Would you know what software did Zack use? I'd like to get my hands on that :P
yes i rendered the main pic while zach helped me with the rest. we used LDD to POV-ray to render the pictures

First off, great work on the model, it does look very much like a Rafale, and in a good way. However, having a jet engine with all the air stored on board is an idea of dubious merit at best, I'm 99% sure you would run out of air within seconds since jet engines rely on large amounts of air exiting out the back of the plane. You also need to redo your math about the two hours at full speed, which doesn't match the 500 kilometer combat radious at all (hint: mach 7 is roughly 8,000 km/h). Finally, this isn't a good shape for hypersonic flight. Anyways, it's a great build regardless of the technical flaws.

Good job on this render, it will make a fine addition to the AUDF military.

A neat and clean looking aircraft, whose shape reminds me a bit of the Dassault Rafale, especially the plan view (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dassault_Rafale). I like the idea of it being rocket powered for high altitude flight: a neat idea! I think that it would need quite a big fuel tank to sustain the speed for two hours though but this sci-fi and we can make our own rules. Perhaps it is boosted up to high altitudes on a mother ship, like the Space Shuttle? Regardless, this is a good looking fighter :)

Quoting jack kenyon Good model, a little basic in design, but still quite nice. Mach 7 seems a little ridiculous for the size though, as this kind of speed is only really achievable at the edge of space. I didn't actually notice until I read the comments, but yes, you need intakes for it to work. 4 out of 5
yes but its pretty much a self contained missile so it dosent require air intakes thats why its range is so low and yes it will operate at the edge of space

Mach 7, well, thats pretty quick! I am not sure how you have a "jet" fighter without air intakes (jet engines need air, so) but still, and interesting MOC. 5/5

Nice, that is going to be a mean little bugger to the enemies of ODF
