Quoting Adam Jenkins Great job! Really like the 'V' shape detailing on the front. The 1x2 plates as headlights work really well. Usually people would try to stick two translucent 1x1 round plates on as lights, but simply using the two studs of the 1x2 plate works a lot better in this case. In the description you say "English electric". Your model looks a lot like a BR Class 47. Is this some kind of foreign derivative? As I say, great job, 5*
Hi Adam, thanks for your comments! Using 1x1 round plates would result in too large headlights where the real ones are very tiny, that's why I opted for the 1x2 plates instead. According to Wikipedia, this class 1800 was "designed and engineered by English Electric modelled on the British Rail Class 50 locomotives but built for CP's 1,668 mm (5 ft 5 2/3 in) Iberian track gauge (...)".
