A lightweight, extremely feral revamp of Glatorian Malum, another of the coolest sets I can remember.
About this creation
Unlike other caharcters, I'm completely unfamiliar with Malum. Feel free to check his bio HERE

I always liked his fiery, magma-like color combo, but here I used a base of black to make the marbled pieces really stand out.

I also gave him shoulders and feet which recall the shape of his claws. With the wings, he now looks like a giant bird of prey.

Back shot.

Blacklight.

Note#1: nothing to say, it's just a fair quickie which happened to come out particularly well. I'd like to be this lucky with everything I build :)

Should I do an Ice Tribe Glatoran next, in a similar style?

Awesome. Also, I just discorverd you 5 minutes ago, and the rest of your work is awesome!

Pretty cool, except that Glatorian and Agori are pretty much people with mechanical parts, so the whole dragon-like appearance doesn't really work. Oh well, it really looks cool. :)

Malum was a figure that was in stores when I was spending my allowance, but I bought Takanuva ('08) instead.

Strange combination of the bulky Malum and the black, skeletal body. Looks good, though.

Ah, Yuri. (: It has been quite sometime since I've been on. I was peaking around and I saw this beauty. Very nice job, my friend. (:

Looks pretty demon-like. I'm not sure if you remember me, but I'm back. I've always been an underdog and I was wondering if you could give me any advice. Thanks!

If he's so ravenous, what's he hungry for? All kidding aside, a well executed revamp and I too especially like the blacklight work. Bravo.

The blacklight picture brings out the best in this MOC, I think. Since you didn't add any trans-coloured parts elsewhere it looks like the flames around his helmet are actually burning.

I like the moc itself, the design is very demonic looking and fits with the whole fire theme but I feel it would look so much better if you tried replacing all the red pins and ball joint parts with their black equivalents. I know this is mostly just nitpicking and you probably don't have the parts available right now, so eh.

Love how this looks! The Photoshop looks good too. Btw, not to sound like a clone kiddie(I don't even like SW) but could you PLEASE give me an opinion of this MOC? It's my biggest and (probably) best, and a comment would mean the world to me. Here's a link: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/361724

Really? I tried it both ways, and I liked it best with the red pins... Oh well, a matter of taste I suppose.

Quoting Clever Crowe A fair assessment, with a few of my MOCs, but definitely not my intent. I think if you could go hands-on with most of them, you'd be pleased/surprised with Playability. 'Bigger' usually = 'more fragile', with me. As you've said before, I use the (admittedly beautiful) works of Steve Puckett as a Cautionary Tale. - As for me, I'll continue to strive for the balance between looks vs. articulation. I always find your work inspiring, Yuri, and am always glad to see when a new MOC of yours pops up in the Feed. CHEERS, man!~
lol I have nephews coming over every now and again, so my MOCs must be able to endure being played with. And you are definitely Puckett 2.0, new and improved. Most your MOCs are jaw-dropping.

Quoting Clever Crowe Cheers on the Photoshop work, Yuri! Good blending on the outer edges (LAYERSlayersLAYERS are your friend!) and I like the metal-thatch background too. This is a lean-and-mean build (I like your Digi-grade legs better that way - mine restricted flexion too much). Also agree with you - one of the better out-of-the-box Builds by Lego, and I LOVE that mask. Feels good when a simple build turns out well, right? Nice work, man! =)
Indeed, we have very different approaches to MOCing, where yours are more like sculptures, and mine are mostly toys. And yes, my favorite MOCs are those who turn out good unexpectedly.

Quoting Callan Lord of Fire A very stylish take on Malum. But is it just me making vague connections, or was the "raven" in ravenous intentional considering he has wings? XD
No, I came up with that name after that main picture, where I used the "Outer Glow" effect. It was a wink to the builder who inspired me to try that effect.
Quoting Max W. Certainly doesn't look all that much like Malum, but I love it. reminds me of Clever Crowe's.. thingy that looks like this. You know what I'm talking about.
-DING!- We have a winner! Well, I agree. But then, most Bionicle look alike when you use the same mask. Plus this doesn't even compare lol. No, the real "Crowe-inspired" thing is the outer glow effect.
Quoting Ventum The Half Demon like the way this moc looks. he looks alot cooler than the original. As for doing a ice tribe glatorian... do Gelu please.
That would have been my first choice too.
