NCA A-120 Spitfire
The A-120 spitfire bears no tribute to the real world British Spitfire, unlike its relative, the Thunderhawk. It is our latest in air-2-ground superiority and will make a nice addition to the NCA air arsenal.
About this creation

The A-120 Spitfire is one of the biggest threats enemy tanks face when the NCA comes on scene. The aircraft has 2 axis thrust vectoring and flaring for thrust control even better than the 3D vectoring found on many Gen 7 aircraft. It also has speed brakes to slow it down on attack runs. The aircraft is heavily armed and equipped with optic camo and ALDS (not yet on model).

The main loadout is designed for ground attack.
12 camera guided bombs (black, bomb bay)
12 laser guided bombs (white/blue, bomb bay)
4 metal storm pods (56 barrels, 226 grenades per pod, not cruise missile)
4 Canister grenade cluster bombs (48 10ib grenades per bomb)
24 Falcon camera guided missiles
2 30mm chainguns
2 quad-barrel 20m ballistic rotary cannons

I thought it would be cool to include a shot of the Spitfire in on an attack run; speed breaks extended, engines flared, bomb bay open.

It has been armed with an anti-shipping loadout for use in the anti-ship, anti-sub role for carrier ops.
12 depth charges (bomb bay)
12 Tigershark camera guided stealth torpedos (bomb bay)
4 Triton stealth cruise missiles
4 quad-core cluster bombs (8 depth charges on board)
6 Mako high speed torpedoes (pylons, I need to change one pair of Falcon missiles out for more Makos)
18 Falcon camera guided missiles (pylons, I need to change one pair of Falcon missiles out for more Makos)
2 30mm chainguns
2 20mm quad ballistic rotary cannons

This is using our new stealth ordinance boxes. These have radar absorbent paint and can connect to the aircrafts optic camo. On the wings, it is carrying the following:
4 Triton stealth cruise missiles
4 bomb boxes loaded with Antimatter cluster bombs
6 Falcon missile boxes carrying 4 missiles each
2 Javelin air-2-air heat seeking missile boxes

This image shows a better view of how each box deploys its weapons.

The A-120 can also serve as a bomber escort. IT is armed here with the following:
12 aerial mines (bomb bay)
12 spearhead air-2-air heat seeking missiles (bomb bay)
2 bomb boxes each carrying 16 aerial mines
6 camera guided missile boxes (4 missiles each)
6 Javelin missile boxes

The aerial mine is a unique weapon. The small thing in the middle is the mine at minifig scale. These have been built bigger to show detail. These drop out of a bomb bay bottom first. The wind opens the rotors which then begin to spin. The mine will hover at the drop altitude unless another one is by the computer prior to drop. If any aircraft approaches it, it launches 36 5ib frag grenades and then falls to Earth. The grenades will detonate on impact, proximity, or timer. If an enemy aircraft is tailing you, this is a great weapon to try and force them off. They won’t do much damage unless in large numbers (like dozens dropped behind a bomber formation as enemy fighters approach) but they can scare enemy pilots into thinking that no place is safe to engage their targets and they flee.
