Bioshock Infinite Songbird
About this creation
Songbird was a challenge - and huge! After about six days of building, I was pretty happy with it. But I needed a scene for Songbird to descend upon. This is a working prototype for a much larger Columbia I'm planning. Enjoy!

If you're coming to Brickworld Chicago 2013, I'll have it there at the video game build tables.

Oh, and click over to Houston Press where Jef R. did another awesome post about my Bioshock builds. Thanks Jef!

Songbird goes after Elizabeth & Booker.

My cat, Walter - for scale. And some detail of the support structure under the floating Columbia.

Hehe.. I think Songbird would win that one. :)

Quoting Owslafa Jones Awesome, especially those wings!
Quoting Justin Knelsen Ive never played the game, but I can tell this has extreme attention to detail and shaping. It looks awesome! Those wings especially take the cake, but just the overall attention to detail makes this an excellent creation. I love it! Awesome work!
Quoting --R.K. Blast-- Wow! That's huge! I love the wings and the building it's crushing the most. Great work. --Blast--
Quoting El Barto ! Intense! Great job on those wings especially!
Quoting Ru Corder Darn nice. The wings are perfect.
Quoting Rogue Warrior incredible job! always love to see a good Bioshock vig :D

Quoting LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist Those wings... wow. I've used a similar technique, but your use of flex tube allowed for a much more organic design, very impressive. Fantastic work on everything else as well, even the base is excellent.
Thanks. It took some time to get the shape of the wings just right. You're right that the flex tube was exactly what I needed to make them more, for lack of a better phrase, "wing-like." ;)

Quoting Fenrek (Fluffy) Wow, just simply amazing. The attention to detail is off the scale here on the bird itself, and then you went and made a cool little dio for him too! Man just superb work, I don't think we'll ever see a better rendition of the Bioshock Infinite antagonist. Congratz man, this is fantastic.
Thanks! I tried to make him as accurate as possible. It's nice to know people noticed. :)

Quoting Clever Crowe Those wings AMAZE me,Imagine. I wish I could see their back to see quite how you pulled that off, but aside from that, the structure and shaping is FANTASTIC. The head, the limb detailing, the commitment to the original from Bioshock's awesome new addition - all breathtaking. Highest compliments! =)
Wow. Thanks! Coming from you, that's cool. Honestly, I'm not so sure how I pulled it off either. A few late nights and staring in to the abyss that is 6am. Thanks! I appreciate the enthusiasm. :) And to be honest, I doubt I could pull off the awesome stuff you do.

Quoting David the Fire Ninja Jedi An absolutely outstanding phenomena! Amazing! The detail, the structures, incredible!
Thanks. :) Detail is important, IMO.
Quoting A M Masterful! The wings are superbly designed and the SNOT masonry bricks used as a road is a touch of brilliance.
Thanks! :D
Quoting Ian Spacek Wowza, impressive build!
Thanks. :)
Quoting Morthen P This is Inzanely perfect I've been waiting for someone to make him and im not surprized its you who made him
Thanks. I always try for perfection, in my eyes. Glad to see others like it. :)
Quoting Yapdap The Dictator I didn't even realize the wings were plates! Superb!
Yes! Plates! Lots of them. :D Thanks!
Quoting Deus "Big D." Otiosus I can not decide whether I like the wings or not. On one hand I can respect the complexity, but on the other hand they are gappy.
Well, have you played the game? The wings are gappy and worn. But I can understand why you question that, since your dragon wings are perfectly formed. Complexity is what makes them interesting, whether they are gappy or not. Thanks for commenting. :)
Quoting Nick Pascale Awesome. oh...your cat is so lifelike...it must have cost a fortune to get all the bricks needed to do her!
Hehe. Walter is a "he" by the way. ;)
Quoting Jared . Wow...
