MEMA R1: Pirate Ship Surprise
About this creation

As I saw the Pirate Ship Ambush on the Lego Wiki, I know that I will also do a Pirate Ship. Because I like the surprising moment when the ships arrive on the Pelennor Fields to help Gondor and Rohan.

I got the Idea with the brick sails from Simon S. but his is a lot better :-)

I also tried some SNOT rount tower technique. Can you find it?

Pleas also have a look at my Small Umbar ship .

That is also my entry for round 1 of the Middle Earth Mocathalon.

Our friends Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli

The solder of death King with his funny friend :-)

A turtle surprise

There is no pirate ship without a monkey

An apple a day keeps the scurvy away

Nice techniques in this one. Honestly I like the set better. Maybe I'm just picky when it comes to boats, but I like seeing a brick-built hull, since the specialized piece makes it too easy. I also think the sails were too blocky. But nice job, and thanks for entering!

I can't believe I have not commented on this yet anyway superb build here love those sails and all of your small details one thing you could try in the future is putting holes in the sails kinda gives it more of a textured feel kinda I think is what you were going for with those gray 1x1 ones on the sail other than that I think that it would be fun to have an interior of the captains cabin

Quoting Sebeus I Those plate-built sails do create a nice effect. I think the cabin section could use some refinement. Good job nonetheless.
Yep there are some improvements to do, also on other parts. But I run out of time and patience :-) Thanks for the comments!

Brickbuilt sails? Yes, please! Could use a brickbuilt hull, though.

Epic job! Thanks, and sorry to be a bother. I'll get to judging right away!

Awesome job! I like the front end. I would suggest turning the masts so that the sails are a bit more 'side-ways' if you know what I mean. Other than that, great job!

Quoting A Sargent Sweet! Not to be a bother, but do you think you could add this to the MEMA group as an entry? You don't have to, it's just new, and awesome as well. Brilliant job, though, Petric!
Thanks! You are always to fast:-) I will add it to the MEMA but I always edit step by step...
