I want to say forts that is the first time I have ever tried to make a Mech of this size.

Full frontal view.

The main heavy cannon

This is the side of the Heavy cannon arm.

This is a lighter and faster firing cannon designed to takeout lighter vehicles and infantry

Here are the feet now I know it seems very odd but I am very proud of these feet they were very hard to make to the design I wanted. If you’ll notice the 2 cones on the legs those are smoke grenade launchers.

Another shot of the legs and ground sensors (steering wheels) They scan for terrain weaknesses and mines as well as bodies and useful elements.

The Missile rack, Designed to fold down as well as aim at many different angles each one on this set up has four different types of missiles.

The two sets of cylinders on both sides of the cockpit are grenade launchers able to launch many forms of grenades.

This is the entire mecha in non-combat mode it can be called thinking mode because of the posture.

The pilot and the cockpit

Next to a minifigure

Same

Ok so I had never built a mecha for a contest before so I looked up on google what a mecha is officially Wikipedia said “Mecha is a science fiction genre that centres around robots or machines. These machines vary greatly in size, shape and appearance. Some are little more than cars with arms and legs, while others are giant humanoid constructs. Different sub-genres exist, with varying connotations of realism. Super Robot and Real Robot are two such examples found in Japanese anime.” (Wikipedia) to help more I kept reading and this came out, “The Japanese word "mecha" is derived from the Japanese abbreviation meka (メカ?) for the English word "mechanical". In Japanese, mecha encompasses all mechanical objects, including cars, guns, computers, and other devices. In this sense, it is extended to humanoid, human-sized robots and such things as the boomers from Bubblegum Crisis, the similar replicants of Blade Runner, and cyborgs can be referred to as mecha, as well as mundane real-life objects such as industrial robots, cars and even toasters. The Japanese use the term "robots" (ロボット robotto?) or "giant robots" to distinguish limbed vehicles from other mechanical devices” (Wikipedia)
So after that pretty much useless help from the internet other than pretty much it could be a giant humanoid robot or even a multi legged robot I decided to build this whole thing as a kinda classic robot design with no hands only guns more of a combat only mecha design.
Also I decided to stick with 2 colors I don’t use as much as I should red and blue for everything I could even the pilot.

Thanks for viewing and please rate and comment.

Quoting Evan 'Beardless Dwarf' Botkin A nice mech! Sorry I'm late with judging but I have been busy at work and haven't had much time for judging. Anyway here's my breakdown of this robot. Good parts usage with some interesting techniques. It seems a bit awkward in shape and I think the legs should be moved out just a bit. I'm pretty much sold on your color scheme. Reminds me of Optimus Prime. I like the guns and it has a lot of them! I think that the cockpit should be smaller because currently, your pilot is only protected by glass and not much else. Even in spite of all the downsides, (not many) you have my vote because I think your mech is more like what I think when someone says 'mech'.4/5
Thanks Evan. I totally understand the work thing just wish you told us that might happen I got worried you forgot. Anyway thanks for the vote.

Quoting The Journeyman Ranger Ok, I'm a judge, so therefore I shall begin jugding :P This mech is not that bad. Personally it seems a little to flat, the legs are small, (at least to me) and a little close together. But the guns on the other hand are awesome! You get a 3/5 My vote goes to Jens, sorry
Thanks for judging on such short notice

Quoting David the Fire Ninja Jedi Nice work! I like the colors! However, I have to give my vote to Jensen. Yours doesn't look that balanced with the huge gun on one side and then the small laser on the other side. If I were to meet one of the two Mechs, I wouldn't want to meet yours with all of those weapons! Good luck with the other two judges! Thanks for doing a MOC-off through i Brick!
Thanks for the complement oh well maybe I'll win over the other 2 judges
