ZZzzzzzz....zzzzzzzz...... *ahem* What? What MOC? I'm uploading things you say? .... Clearly I wasn't asleep. You kids these days, accusing me of sleeping. I don't know what you're on about.
About this creation
Ladies and gentleman, boys and girls, welcome! To the most boring, and yet aggravating car in human history.
It's not even finished, in case you hadn't noticed. The potent combo of pitifully frail design, lack of parts, and lack of passion/flair/"anything interesting at all because its a 4 door German sedan" sort of took their toll.
Now that you're all thoroughly intrigued...
...seriously, if you make it through this whole MOC then you're one dedicated bugger.
One last random view, for your viewing pleasure.
Without cheating the rear door can open a smidge...
... scoot the front door open about a mm and the rear door works completely.
All the doors open for some fresh air.
The 6.3 litre V8!
It does have a 3 speed + Park transmission, (terrible) steering, pneumatic (fussy) suspension, opening boot (full of pneumatic kit), and proper caster angle on the front axle.
The interior! Isn't even halfway decent. Just move on....
Still has a glovebox. Obviously.
One last viewy view.
At this point I appeased my boredom by taking a picture at 10x zoom. Trees. Quite.
Normal ride height.
One interesting thing about pneumatic suspension is that you can slam things instantly.
Thanks for visiting! Have a better day than the Merc.
Your 'bad' MOCs are still some of the best on MOCpages : ) It looks, from a distance, superb, but agreed that up close some of the engineering is a bit rough/unfinished. Still worth a 5/5, but also worth a swift dismantling too
Is that Richard Hammond I see driving over the Merc? That front end and hood WERE great. I liked the lowrider version. The one before the VERY lowrider one. Now that I think about it, I've never really been a Merc fan; so, perhaps, the final version is the one I prefer. ;)
Even if it's not finished, it still looks great, in particular the front and doors are excellent. Do the front wheels hit the wheel arches when the suspension is down? It looks like they do in the picture...
