A 2013 VW Caddy, a very practical family car with sliding doors (only the shape this time) and a lot of space inside.
About this creation
This car is like a symbol for my lack of time for LEGO during the last weeks. The original is now parking in my garage, as we needed some more space in our car for our "family project". With a new born baby there is not much time for sleep and even less for hobbies ;-))
OK, here we go. The original is more practical than stylish, but I tried to get as close as posibble with this one, too: Once more credits to Pierre KissTheSky for the mirrors.

Neato! A great 4-wide VW..... CADDY!!!!! Where are my "Golf" Clubs? Get it? Caddy, Golf?
That's where the name came from: The first Caddy was a Pick Up model based on the Golf. The actual model (especially the front) is based on the Touran. Back in the 70s VW started with names of winds, air and sea streams (Scirocco, Passat, Santa Ana -> Santana, Jetstream -> Jetta and Gulf Stream -> Golf). The double meaning of the word Golf in German (Gulf / Golf) led to names of the next models based on the Golf sport: Polo and Caddy. The wind names came back later with the models Vento (wind in Italian) and Bora (a Mediterranean wind). Newer model names are mostly "fantasy names" with no real meaning.
