Calum - Bio-Cup 2013 Round 1
I decided on a name at last minute. If this MOC is supposed to represent me in the competition, why not give it (pretty much) the same name as me?
About this creation

I spend at least a day on and off trying to connect the head in a way that looked decent.

It still doesn't look great, but it's the best I could come up with.

The only connection points were at the very back, which meant I had to go with a long curved over neck.

He's pretty poseable, but there's no sideways foot swivel, making the legs hard to position.

It's not too bad though. He looks great in most poses.

Thanks heaps for checking out my creation! Wish me luck in the competition!

I like the idea of using the trans blue, although it was not the best execution possible. If it was more well-distributed, and with the socket gaps filled up, would've been better. Lowers legs connect a bit oddly to the tighs too, that socket that connects them i positioned a bit awkwardly, as the picture of it sitting shows. Other than those, a good one, but a bit bland, and proportion-wise, its very standard Inika like, wich don't quite justificate the custom build. I give this a 5.

Yeah, got to agree with Monarth. Still, a nice entry nonetheless! Your score: 5

He uses some very unusual techniques, but there's some improvements needed in armoring, for upper arms and lower legs with that gap to say the least. That trans-blue chest is interesting, but doesn't really work for the looks, and the lack of depth on it disturbs me, but it would be nice as a backpack, like Yuri said. 5 points.

Quoting Clever Crowe I like the innovation of that blue-trans wedge for the chest, but not to the point that I feel it should become the whole point of the figure. It's definitely good as an attention grabber, tho. The rest, however, leaves me in the unusual position of having to rate you higher for the Techniques you used (compound knee joints, etc.) than the way the end results look. Good for 6 points from me. Good luck, ahead~
Thanks!

Quoting Yuri Fassio Good luck in the competition! Oh wait... I'm actually a judge. Must do the judg-y thing. Ok, well, there is actually an interesting idea behind this MOC, never seen that row-of-connectors chest piece before (and it comes in my favorite color too). But having the idea not always means using it successfully.I think it would have worked better if you switched the front with the back, like he had some kind of glowing power pack (that blue lights up if you shine a UV light on it). As it is, the best part is the lower leg section, it's very well made. All in all, I'd say it's a 5.
Thanks! Now that you point it out, I think it would look better at the back. Oh well.
