Hello! This is a MOC I didn't have much interest in making, because for one reason there are so many versions of this scene, and for another, because Attack of the Clones is one of my least favourite Star Wars episodes. However, I thought of a funny detail I could put into this MOC (you'll see what it is later), and so decided to try my hand at this popular build. Enjoy!
About this creation
The diorama stands on a plate-built 16-36 base. I tried to incorporate as many scenes from AotC in this build as possible.
Obi-Wan Kenobi, formerly a keychain, sneaks around the stairs. These stairs were so hard to get right!
The pillar was also difficult, but in the end I like that it leans slightly.
Another shot of those stairs.
One of the entrances to the factory.
The blast doors from the inside. I don’t remember how movie-accurate they are; but I had fun making them.
Here is the panel to open the doors; too bad that Padmé and Anakin didn’t see it…
Through the blast doors; an artistic shot.
The floor outside the door slides back like in the movie, dropping an unfortunate minifig into a lot of trouble!
Battle droids receive finishing touches…
Yes, I meant battle droids and C-3P0.
3P0 has lost his head; he thinks this will help :P
That detail that convinced me to build this MOC? A captured clone trooper now paints battle droids for a living.
How’d he get here!?
Underneath the blast doors Jar Jar works on his customary four six-packs before the next filming session. Meesa *hic* ready to help *hic* yousa!
Thanks for checking this out, I hope you enjoyed it!
