Small Malaysian fishing boat. I used to go out to sea with this boat on holidays as my grandpa was a fisherman.
About this creation
This is a MOC of a small Malaysian fishing boat. You can find many of these parked at jettys along the rivers and channels that lead out to sea in Malaysia. My MOC is a slight upgrade to the actual boat which is very simple.
Inside the boat there is radio, and a lever on the floor to control speed. A stick at the back controls the rudder. The speed lever is foot operated as you will also need to hold the rudder stick to steer. There is also a wall clock to tell the time.
The black flaps store the fish (in our boat it stored the fishing nets). The white flap by the glass is ice storage. The top flap on the roof is the life saving one that allows air to flow into the boat so you enjoy some wind when operating the boat while being shaded from the hot, relentless tropical sun.
From left: A stick, a fire extinguisher, ice, and fish. I love fish.
How to fish? We cast nets and leave a little buoy. We go to other areas and do the same. We come back about 1 hour later and retrieve the net and hopefully have some fish. Its not much, but it helps us survive.
Fishing is done, take a slow ride home. Usually there are only one or two people on a boat. There's three today because I decided to hop on and give everyone the tour.
