It's been a while since I posted my last car, but I'm back. This is the brand new car, with a name as well. Its called the R&S Citizen (R&S stands for Ripley & Sons), even though my last name isn't Ripley it still sounds pretty cool. This is also a new Hybrid Supercar, like the McLaren P1 and the Porsche 918. As with normal, I will take you through the car with photographic aid. So, enjoy the photos...
About this creation
Mounted in the middle of the car is a big block V8. The same type of V8 that you got in the American Muscle Cars of the 60's
The engine is probably the most detailed piece on the car. You need to take it out of the car to see it in all it's beauty
Interior: Same old, Same old.
Passenger side view
This is where the boot of the car should be, but it isn't. In here we have an electric motor (Yes this is a hybrid). The idea being is that in this car, the front wheels turning when the engine is in use charges the battery. Once that battery is fully charged you can drive for close to 150km
Here is a top down view of the battery, the two cogs at the front are linked to the drivetrain, and the cylinder piece behind them is an electric motor
COOL DETAIL 1 - This is a shot of the air vents that feed air to the radiator
COOL DETAIL 2 - These skinny wing mirrors are designed to cut through the wind
COOL DETAIL 3 - Each wheel has a black wheel nut in the centre like on race cars
Because of the size of this car, it looks about 1/18 scale, so it blends in well next to the likes of Pagani and McLaren
Final shot, thanks for viewing. And if you wish, please rate and/or comment
