Lamborghini Countach
Welcome to one of (in my opinion) best creations ever! I know it isn't completely realistic, but I tried to mix some of my favourite Countach elements into one car :) I am not a massive fan of the spoilered Countachs, but this model looked best with one. Please comment and rate! :)
About this creation

Welcome to one of the most iconic cars in the world, recreated in little red plastic bricks.

So, I know some of the lines are dodgy here, but the back was perfect, until I realised the height of the wheel arches!

I'm pretty happy with the side profile, until you get to the back...

The front is okay (in my opinion), the lights were much smaller, but they looked wrong so I made them bigger.

I like this view, you can see how the shape of the car widens towards the back.

The engine cover opens!

And so does the front (I don't think this is the trunk on the real car, the trunk is at the back but I had no space to build one)

The doors open, too!

I like the shape of the doors haha :)

Nothing in the front, there weren't many reference pictures on google.

I am pretty proud of the engine, I made it mostly from memory, as I am quite fond of the Countach. Also, if you look closely, you can see the exhausts through the gaps.

There isn't really much to say here...

And finally, the best view of the whole car!
I hope you liked this model, please comment and rate!! :)

As always, a seamless build. I've been wondering, how long does the whole process of inspiration to building take you?

Quoting Ryan Link Wow! Such an iconic car, so unique and bold in its styling, and you've captured every detail so well. Great engine and interior, and nice job with the shaping on the back. I like the slight slope on the exhaust pipes too, nice detail!
Thank you! :)

Quoting Ape Fight Great job! Looks really accurate, but in a classic style (which I love). It REALLY needs a clean background though. 4/5 for now, 5 with clean pics : )
Thanks! and I will upload some plain background pictures soon :)

Quoting Nathanael Kuipers Nice work, on a real classic! I agree that there are quite a few Lamborghini's overhere already, so it's good that you tried to differentiate yours. Actually I built one too in the same scale, but also included something a little different...
Thanks! And how did you incorporate the transformer into your design? because for me, it was hard enough just to make the model!

Quoting Alexander Paschoaletto Man, you're in an outstanding improvement! great car you got here, the hole shape is very neat. But why don't you take pictures on that white background anymore? the best pictures come from there!
Thank you! I have some pictures on a white background to upload, I just thought as it was sunny I might as well take pictures outside :) Maybe next time I decide to do that, I should do it with better scenery.

Quoting Nils O. Wow you really got close to the original. The tail lights and the air intakes on the sides are my favourite details. Great job! :-)) P.S.: You can get a look under the front hood, here: http://www.countachinfo.de/typo3temp/pics/3b2d832d16.jpg The slim emergency spare wheel looked ridiculous when it was mounted, especially on the rear axle ;-))
Thank you! :D and that spare wheel is rubbish! Especially on the rear, the Countach has huge tyres at the rear!

Quoting TheLegoNoitAll . Wow! this one is awesome! I love it all! and you're right, the trunk is behind the engine, the front stores the spare tire, and some mechanical stuff. I really like how it gets wider at the back. I have a Countach to build on my list, somewhat soon.
Thank you! :) I would've struggled to fit a spare tire in the front to be honest!
