For the Bio-Cup, Round 2 The Voliath Mech!
About this creation
Name: Raiko (Codename: Voltz)
Species: Vo-Matoran
Occupation: Unknown
Titles: Voltz, The Volt Knight, The Green ThunderBolt, Toa of Electricity
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Personality: Unknown
Element: Electricity (Green)
Side Powers: None
Kanohi: None, Specialized Helmet.
Weapons: Emerald Thunder Staff
Backstory: Raiko once lived on Spherus Magna with other Vo-Matoran. He was very special, being one of the only male Vo-Matoran to ever have been created, and having a thunder bolt of the color of green. Long after the Great Cataclysm , like most Vo-Matoran, Raiko fled Spherus Magna. He fled until he landed in Fieldus Magna, during one of the newer periods of the Makuta/Toa War. Raiko developed the name Voltz from native Matoran because of their witnessing of his power, but like lighting, would be gone in a flash. Raiko, even though being a Toa, has been known to work alone.

I have seen this foot design a lot lately, and decided to use it!

Here is how the foot connects to the Mech itself.

And here is how Voltz controls the mech's arms.

The colour range does play havoc a bit with the overall cohesiveness of the MOC, sometimes the white just blends away into the background though. Well built and nicely designed, I have to agree with the others that the shoulder gun could have been integrated better. Here's 7 points for you.

Nice entry. The new colors on the mech add nicely to the whole, however some of the aesthetics do not follow around the entire mech. The biggest contrast is between the arms and the legs that do no follow each other's themes. I also think the cockpit could've used a bit more blue or white to stay more loyal to the color scheme. Lastly I'm with the other judges about the shoulder weapon. It's a bit too detached from the structure and probably would've worked better if it was more compact and closer to the hull. 7 points.

I thought the color palate a bit too wide, and agree with Yuri that the shoulder gatling is a little spare-looking in the back, but I LOVED the monstrous compound legs (even digi-grade architecture), and another big plus for me was the right-arm-cannon using the HF dragonmask as plating. As an aside: It's interesting how many Contestants went with that power-loader-style torso harness/cage/frame thing. ;) 7 points!

Very nice. I approve your "icy" theme choice, it works well with the original "electic" theme to form a kind of storm power suit. It could have been more refined, and the shoulder weapon really needed more work, but it still earns you a good 7. Good luck :)

Quoting X ~ Sick mech! The feet are great! As are the weapons. The only flaw IMO is the color choice, white IMO doesn't work well enough for a blue and yellow character, unless it's meant to be light lightning. Great Moc HyperShadow! :)
Hey thanks for the great comments! Also, the white is supposed to represent the original Vo-Matoran colors, white and blue(:

Nicey work! I noticed that one color in the scheme was changed for the mech, that makes it interesting. And Also, the way that it enclosed the pilot was great work.

Reminds me of Avatar. Anyway, love the look of this beast man. Also, I like the use of Dragonbolt's head piece there. Good luck dude
