MELA R2. Petric G. vs. A M: Dale Attacked by Smaug
Dale was a city of Men in north-eastern Rhovanion to the south of the Lonely Mountain (Erebor). The Lonely Mountain was the home and kingdom of the Dwarves. Through a very close trade and culture relationship with the Dwarves of the mountain, Dale became wealthy and flourishing.
About this creation
This is my Round 2 entry to the Middle Earth MocAthalon where I'm in the Elven Bracket (what ever that means!?)
My worthy opponent is A M

But now back to the story:

Dale that alleged peace got suddenly destroyed. Nobody thought of it, nobody knew anything, only the animals became nervous. Then, out of nowhere, everyone was pulled from their activities, Smaug, the dragon, attacked Dale!

Smaug came and smashed a part of the watchtower!

Here we see Aradal, the young guard, climbing down to the glass chamber, to get bow and arrow.

Leo, the poor stable boy, was buried by a massive piece that fell from the watch tower.

For hours. Sir Hagdor's horse was nervous. Hagdor, , irritated by the animal, needed all his power to keep it under control, but the frightened horse faught back and bucked him off. Now, Hagdor now understood the reason for this, as he smelled the scent of Smaug in the air.

Lady Madaly was enjoying her meal on the veranda with her baby. When Smaug smashed the watch tower, she could only jump aeside and cover her child. Then a piece from the tower smashed the balcony and landed next to her.

Also Bradly could only jump out of the balcony and into the burning house.

With his firy breath smaug put the roof on fire.

Only Andra the older guard remained at his position and looked through his field glasses
to find out, where smaug was going. He would return for the second attack!

Oh, we nearly forgot Dwalan, the Dwarf with the blue jacket, that retired long ago. He had lived for decades in Dale and found a new hobby: Gardening. He is nearly deaf and didn't hear anything where the evil happening around him.

He could only see Sir Hagdor getting tossed off of his horse. Dwalan does not understand why the horse is so scared, but he was never interested in horses and continues working in his garden.
