Entry to BIO-CUP Round 2
About this creation
What happens when you're eating a Big Mac, playing way too much Bio-Shock and you recently developed an interest in Blacktron? This.

The Vialtron suit was designed by the Great Beings so as to enhance Valair's species out in space. These suits were mass produced and were able to be modified for combat, exploration and repairing tasks. They enhanced ones ability through a refined form of antidermis which glows green when in used and is extracted from creatures that were once the ancestors of the Kraata. Once extracted the Antidermis is extremely unstable and has mutagenic properties and through natural processes is stabilised by the suit.

Extracting antidermis from a $75 trans orange Kraata.

Proof that it is manned as an adaptive suit.

Okay the blackouts over and powers is online. Personally I blame my local council for not placing adequate amounts of money towards the electricity grid and improving it. This bad boy has went through some serious changes from my WIPs you can see over on my new Flickr page. This entry is a personal fav moc of mine and happy of the results even if I don't make it to the next round. I also don't usually build this big (I know some you guys are thinking WTF? But yeah I haven't got a lot of pieces to work with so i can't really pull off a Pacific Rim titan)I just had to make do. I'm happy with it regardless if I make it to the next round or not (Though it would really leave a sour taste in my mouth if I got kicked out of the comp merely because it was posted up late.) Eh I did my best. Till next time.

Great entry, regardless of pilot weirdness. 7 points

Great entry! I think enough points have been deduced from your score, so I'll grant you a fair 8.

Well, as I saw the images that the suit is in fact removable, I somewhat approve the moc. Don't get me wrong, it looks brilliant, but the amount of modding for the pilot is a bit too much. 6 points.

I blame myself out of haste in a blind rush to post this up. I apologize. I don't think this will count to anything but I thought I'd show it anyways http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/98102050@N08/9303871855/ http://m.flickr.com/#/photos/98102050@N08/9303871341/

Quoting Ahpolki Ihu .....Mr. Bubbles?
Haha yes! XD Im thinking of adding a Little Blacktron Sister to accompany him. (Though I'm not sure how well it will turn out.) :)
Quoting Andrew Mayfield Very nice, I love how well you covered it up! I really hope this is accepted, it would suck if all that work went down the drain over a blackout. DX
HF plates works wonders when used appropriately. :D
Quoting Kraata Face My face!

Visually, a Win - but I feel some of the same concern Yuri detailed below: it'd be unfair to deduct from some of your opponent's entries for the same reason, and slide on yours. Concept-wise, quite nice-looking; kinda has a Big Daddy-feel to it, doesn't it? And that's a Plus, in my book. I like the custom weapons for each arm terminal, though. 6 points, and good luck!

You sure didn't do yourself any favors with this presentation, man. I don't really know how to score this. It looks very cool, and it comes in some of my favorite colors, but it covers your character so much I can't even be sure it's actually in there. I think I can see the head in the last shot, but that's it... I can't know that you simply made the beast and stuck the head in there. I have currently opened both MOC pages and I'm looking if I can recognize any part of your previous entry inside that thing, and it appears I can only recognise his thighs and shoulder plates. I think you completely replaced its feet, hands and arm plates. All I can see from these pics points towards you simply building over him, rather than giving him a new mech/suit. I don't like to do this, but I can't give this more than a 5, also considering how far you stretched the rule about tweaks on your character.

Quoting [ Chro ] Looks nice, Adam! I hope the judges let this through, getting DQ'd because of power outages would be pretty bad... (by the way, Kraata have no ancestors, since they're born by being pulled from the chest of a Makuta). :P
Thanks Ben. Ahem <.< Let's just say its in an alternate universe where Kraatas evolve and reproduce and all that.. >.< Haha :P
