G9-K7 - A Remembrance
Built early 2013.
About this creation
"Everyone, meet G9-K7. G9-K7, pick your next target..."

You may remember this guy from my 2013 Mocathalon entry entitled "Breakout." Well, this metal beast had a soft spot in my heart, so I thought I'd give him a... ...memorial post. Yes, you heard me correctly, he is no more. So I invite you to join me today to honor and celebrate his short, but influential and inspiring life!

G9-K7 (or Geenine Kaysven, as some liked to call him) returned to the grey, black, and red boxes yesterday. G9-K7 was born in my room after a long, laborious labor of two days. He weighed less than a pound at birth. In fact, he always weighed less than a pound... Huh. Weird. He enjoyed tracking down and killing people, shooting at [mostly alive] targets, blowing stuff up, and watching "You've Got Mail." He shot onto the big scene when he made an appearance on the big screen in "Breakout", an Elliott Feldman film. The highest point in his life was when he traveled down to LEGOLAND California for Star Wars Days 2013, under the alias of, well, G9-K7 (he didn't have very good name-processing-units). He stayed at home for the last few priceless days of his life. I'll leave you with one of the things he used to say that I think really fits this moment: "..."

I found some *sniff* pictures of G9-K7 as I was sorting through his *sniff* scrapbook. I thought I'd share them *sniff* because I know he'd want me *sniff* to.

This is his first baby picture. Isn't he cute? *AWWWWWWWWWwwwwwwwww*

This is when he learned to walk... ...and do a handstand.*

*Yes he is really doing a handstand, the photo was not flipped and supports were not used. He just has really good balance.

He thought he was Spiderman for a while. *AWWWWWWWWWwwwwwwwwww*

Oh, um, how did this get in here?

He killed 152 people with this baby. *AWWWWWWWWWWWwwwwwwwww*

This was his "stop taking pictures of me, man" face. *AWWWWWWWWWWwwwwwwwwwww*

NOW IT'S TIME FOR THE RECEPTION!!!! BRING ON THE CAKE!!!!!!!

This is a cool design. There is a lot going on but it's not too busy or distracting. It all comes together very nicely.
