...and there were peals of thunder, rumblings, flashes of lightning, and an earthquake.

Revelation 8:5b

The apocalypse is the end of the world according to the Bible. Due to the earthquake the sands have shifted over the road. Me and my friend are walking down the road into the desert due to the panic in the citys and town. The verses after the ones above are where things really start to heat up. For example:

Now the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared to blow them.
7 The first angel blew his trumpet, and there followed hail and fire, mixed with blood, and these were thrown upon the earth. And a third of the earth was burned up, and a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.
8 The second angel blew his trumpet, and something like ha great mountain, burning with fire, was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. 9 A third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed.
10 The third angel blew his trumpet, and a great star fell from heaven, blazing like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. 11 The name of the star is Wormwood.2 A third of the waters became wormwood, and many people died from the water, because it had been made bitter.
12 The fourth angel blew his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, and a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of their light might be darkened, and a third of the day might be kept from shining, and likewise a third of the night.
13 Then I looked, and I heard an eagle crying with a loud voice as it flew directly overhead, “Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, at the blasts of the other trumpets that the three angels are about to blow!”

Quoting Dylan Something Whoah. I didn't mean to be judged on the second wall of text, that was just there for reference. Thats why I put the earthquake part in bold. It was the first verse I wanted to be judged on. Guess I should've specified a little more. Second, about the rapture... I kind of forgot about that while building this build, however the build can still be justified if you prefer one of these views: http://www.preteristarchive.com/ARTchive/Charts/Tables/chart_4-interpretations.jpg with the rapture coming after. I haven't choosen yet which view I would prefer, I am still looking into it. So, does that change my score? No hard feelings if it doesn't. Also, I did say the guy was a friend.
It was part of the presentation. The build is fantastic, and while the verses from John's book are very powerful, there wasn't much of a connection to the build. I'm not going to go through the hassle of changing the score though. The past is the past, and you shouldn't feel bad about the score since all you would have gotten were bragging rights and a two week position where you don't do much but wait until it's time to judge. :P The events fortold are happening, but not everything. We do not yet have a political leader and a religious leader some place in the world working together and cause all nations to fight. We haven't got those yet right? Then when the trumpets sound, the dead rise and all believers are taken from Earth while the next events happen and all chaos begins. At least that's what I support when it comes to The Revelation. Oh, and I'm talking about that dogdy fellow on the rocks pointing his gun at you in the Minifig picture. You said your friend and yourself were walking and yet there is a third. :S He's a creep!

Good Build! I like the billboard, and the overall derelict look.

Quoting MCLegoboy ! Presentation: 2 And here's why. I love that you went with Revalation and shared some of the things that are to come, but it doesn't particularly add up with the build. Who is this random guy following you and where is the fire and the flood and the eagle and the angels and exactly why were YOU left behind from the rapture? I am perfectly fine with post-apocalyptic stuff being right after the fire and flood and Wormwood and such but I don't see the connection in the MOC. Still a good entry as a whole though. 15/20

Originality: 4 It's not a broken building or a city area from what we can tell. And there is sand instead of mindless rubble. Build: 9 I think is is very good and the angles you went with the road and billboard are a nice help, although that billboard might be a bit too close it you look at where it's placed. Presentation: 2 And here's why. I love that you went with Revalation and shared some of the things that are to come, but it doesn't particularly add up with the build. Originality: 3. Whilst not spectacularly unoriginal, its not particularly original either, with roads being a feature of most post-apocalyptic builds. Build: 7. I quite like the road covered in sand, and from an overview, it looks very nice. I quite like the billboard, although a torn advertisement would have been nice. In some places however, the sand is a bit square. While the rockwork is nice, its not spectacular, and there are a few ugly holes in it. Presentation: 4. The picture are clear, and there's a good image of anything I might want to see. Its nice to see a good picture of every minifig. However, the wall of text at the start was a bit much. Total score: 14/20 I really wanted to give this a higher score, but as I wrote this, the flaws in the build become more and more evident

Good job with the rockwork and the road! I also like how you threw in the references to the "real," Biblical apocalypse, but it would have been nice to have some elements of that in the build itself.

Cool rocks! Nice feel to the whole thing. Really well done!

Wow! I really love those rocks! I also especially love how the road is at an angle, not just straight.

Awesome. I love the broken sign. Has a bit of a Nevada feel to it (correct me if I'm entirely wrong, never been to Nevada).
