Finally, I bring you my AK-47! First off, I'd like to give a huge thanks to Cole Edmonson, for inspiration of the whole thing and for the magazine design. (His magazine was just so good, I couldn't help but to copy it.) This is the largest gun I've built in full black, and it uses only red, dark red, and brown in the wood furniture. It features a moving selector switch, working magazine release, adjustable sights, and storage for rubber bands in the stock. The rubber bands are loaded onto a gear in the foregrip, and the gun can hold up to 6 rubber bands. It measures 879mm, one mm shorter than the real thing.

Again, credit goes to Cole Edmonson for the brilliant magazine design and inspiration.

Quoting ArcticWolf . Epic entry. Unfortunately, it cannot be judged due to no category. And the modern warfare category is filled up.
The rifle is used today by rebellious groups, but not by any country's military. But I understand, it is more of a WWII gun.

Thanks! The stock was very difficult to get right. I can't wait to see your SCAR-H, it's been quite a while since you uploaded a new gun!

Quoting Michael K. LEGO RBGs usually sacrifice looks for function, but not here. I'd suggest covering the technic holes on the barrel with 1 wide plates. Awesome gun, probably your best, definitely one of the best LEGO guns.
Thanks, I really appreciate your comment.

Quoting silly productions two questions, how did you get the indent by the magazine? i tried it on mine but it left no room for the mag, how are those flat pieces held sideways there? oh and how is the stock hanging like that? is it fragile?
I used this part for the indent: http://brickset.com/parts/?part=4277932 You'll notice the indent consists of one 2x2 tile, and two 1x8 tiles. There are two of those sideways plates (mentioned above) on each indent. The 2x2 tile is attached to one, and the two 1x8 tiles are attached to the other. I hope that makes sense. If it doesn't, let me know. As for the stock, it is attached to the receiver by two 4-stud technic axles. (You can see them in the picture.) The stock can wobble to the side slightly, but it is relatively sturdy, and wont' fall off.
