Vorkurr and ChillBolt
Biocup Round 3 entry
About this creation
My opponent: Max W.

Vorkurr (Right) and Chillbolt (Left)

Name: Chillbolt
Species: Bone Hydra
Occupation: Race Mount of Voren
Titles: Volt Hound, Volt Hydra
Alignment: Chaotic neutral
Personality: None
Element: Electricity, Ice
Side Powers:None
Kanohi: None
Weapons: Teeth, Claws
Backstory: Raised by Voren as a young Bone Hydra, “Chillbolt” developed into Bone Hydra that could control much of the element of electricity. Now a race mount to dear old Voren, They Race in the Fieldus 500 every year.

Resembling the original bone hydras three heads

Side shot of the legs

Another head shot

A shot of his Chillbolt tail

And the Rider, Voren

Claw shot..?

Rider, Voren, honestly I didn't wanna put too much effort into the sidekick, as i wanted to focus more on the mounts themselves.

Group shot with Vorens visor up.

*Pat pat pat*

Name: Vorkurr
Species: Dragon
Occupation: Race/War Mount of Voltz
Titles: The Lightning Dragon, The Bolt
Alignment: Neutral
Personality: Very Wise, like a father figure to Voltz
Element: Electricity
Side Powers: Flight
Kanohi: None
Weapons: Claws, Strength
Backstory: Vorkurr is the racing/war mount of Voltz. Voltz raised him since his birth, but since a Dragon ages much faster than a Matoran, The dragon became somewhat of a father figure to Voltz. They now each Race in the Air Matoran Games, every year.

Gosh this thing is big, Sorry that some shots will be out of this box
Wing shot though

Exscuse my hand, it was just hard to shoot without holding! Wingspan is about 1.5 feet

Out of the lightbox! :O Better for posing though,
Vorkurr, when not flying, likes to rest on all fours.

I decided that he would look great with Dragon Bolts "Brain" So I just put that in.

Another..weird..Shot of his wingspan

An undercarriage shot

A forward looking shot

Oh, his mouth can also open too! And breath fire if he wants.

A side shot of the Dragon.

Ahh, back in the lightbox!
Here is Vorkurr and his Master, Voltz.

Vorkurr: Mu ul Zeymah (We are eternal brothers)
(10 cookies for anyone who can guess his language, hint, TES)

A final shot of the two mounts together

And a final shot of the two riders.

Fourth Wall:
Honestly, I wasnt that proud of these entries, and I hope to fix them very soon.
But I can say that I hope to move on to the next round with these two.
And if not? I can focus more on my quality then quantity.
Good luck to the rest of the Cupers!

Fantastic! These are so cool. I'm obviously not up to date because I haven't even seen some of these pieces before! Great job :D

Really loving Chillbolt the hydra ! The colors and overall look is creative ! BTW, as basic as he is, Voren is really nice too. Not really digging Vorkor. The mouth isn't very thought out and the wings and tails just seem boring. I find you could have done A LOT more to make it more unique and original. As for his rider, HE IS AWESOME ! The colors and armor choices through out the character works well. I love the shoulders with the lightning. I think you deserve a shot at the next round :)

Really digging the concept of the 3 headed dog, he looks awesome, and a cool colour scheme too! Good luck man :D

Good ones. Chillbolt is weird, odd and even disturbing, so I very much like it (not without nitpicks, of course. Lower legs could be better). The sidekick looks decent and fitting enough, but perhaps a bit too basic and bland. Vorkurr, however, is strange. Looks unfinished, like a bigger, but sketchier version of Dragon bolt. Not a fan... Overall, nice entries, but I gotta vote for your opponent here.

Let me just get this out of the way first: I would not have known that your creatures were racing beasts if you hadn't told me. My toaster looks more agile than each of your entries. This said, we have very different entries. On one side, a pair of technically sound generic black/silver beasties, on the other simple, colorful and well themed MOCs. Usually I would have voted for the latter because let's say it, Chillbolt steals the scene. But Vorkurr is just a sketchy Dragon Bolt revamp with a side of Aquagon. It doesn't even look like it belongs in the group, like it was made by a different, less talented builder. I can't reward something like that. My vote goes to Max W, with the provision that he gets his sheets together and start posting properly from now on. Overall I enjoyed both your MOCs, well done and good luck!

Epic and that language is dragon language from the elder scrolls games.

Pretty cool! I personally like ChillBolt better than Vorkurr though, he doesn't seem to look much like a dragon to me. His general shape seems to be more mamalian than Reptillian, and I don't feel his wings were pulled off too well. Despite that, he looks very cool if you don't focus on the wings. ChillBolt, however, looks much more complete, and I can really imagine him to be what he is, if that makes any sense... But still, good luck in the contest! :)

Oh yeah, I think I remember seeing Chillbone. XD

Great job. I know you said you wanted to focus more on the mounts themselves, but the sidekick is extremely small and doesn't have much detail, some more armor or greebles and make him a bit taller and he'll be fine.
