De Tomaso Pantera GT4
Following the spree of Datsun 510, I built another car that I've already built numerous times before. I can haz logicburger?
About this creation

The great outdoors! I had to wait a few minutes for all the deer to clear out of my backyard before taking any pictures. I'm totally content to run at them and scare them off, but after a buck showed up I figured that wasn't such a brilliant plan.

But they did clear, and I did get pictures. And here they are!

The front, now with real front flavor!

That side view

And, of course, the back with its many exhaust pipes.

The sort of view that rustles jimmies.

The engine bay, which was supposed to be lined with shiny black tiles. I have none left...

On the plus side, the engine looks the business. Mind you, it's mounted backwards! The transaxle goes behind the engine, Mr. Chilla...

The removable trunk lid makes accessing the front workings a breeze

Fully independent suspension on the front, steering, and caster angle! All that caster even gives it return to center properties... also makes it incredibly heavy. Also note the cunning use of chain link for structural support.

The doors open, but due to some more of my patented cunning the whole front wing and door assembly is held on by 1 single stud. At least its a fairly gutsy stud.

Eagle's eye view. Screee!!!

The interior, which frankly isn't complete for the same reason as the engine bay: no more black tiles. Also notice the 5 speed + reverse gearbox lifted from an 8880.

The seats have that special Citroen zazzle, they slide up/forward and back/down. And *sigh* note the glovebox. Mighty big one, at that.

At this point I'd like to point out that the rear has a live axle for U-joint saving reasons, and the whole thing is 4WD. With 2 difs on each axle. Because race car.

And at this point I'm nearly out of ideas for captions. So here's the word conglomerate.

Conglomerate.

And then, out of the blue, a De Tomaso landed on my car!

I didn't put it there, honest.

It was hot out, so I went inside for a few last pics.

This one, for instance.

Fun Fact #3 was given a warning about his interfering with Polish trade routes, for those concerned. Says he's learned his lesson, but I'm not so sure.

Pop up headlamps, too.

Thanks for viewing, and enjoy the rest of your day!

This is JAW-DROPPING wicked, but how reliable are your cars anyway? How hard is it to make these massive cars? Check out my minigarage phase 5 (I am, surprisingly, working ahead of raphy) Crosleys.

I know this car... It was the beat-em-all card in a card game we played every day in primary school. How we dreamed of driving one! And you've really done it justice. Great shape, great features, so much so that the faltering quality of the image captions towards the end detract not at all from the viewing pleasure :-) Thanks.

One of my favorite cars on MOCPages now...Well done S.C! I think I've fallen in love with the rear arches and doors, as well as the 3/4 rear view. It's totally unfair that you can whip up a stunning creation like this in just a few weeks. Now put a R/C motor in there and scare off that buck! Sounds like a great idea right? Right!?

Such a "small" Pantera, I can't believe it's yours. It doesn't even have a glovebox ;-)) Anyway, great job again! :-)) P.S.: How can you build cars that cool at that speed? It's unbelievable! :-o

Your production rate is amazing, especially when combined with the quality of what you make. Is it just you or do you have a team of modellers trapped in your basement? The smooth, curved and gapless bodywork is very impressive on this build. It also looks just like the photos that I've seen on the interweb.

Wow. This is quite a stunning build!!! (Much better than the blurry photos and dirty bricks would suggest...) You have captured the form excellently, and with so many subtle angles. This is way up there in the top category! (My only suggestion would be to use a different tecnique for the mudguards, letting the cheese-slopes block the arc, instead of the arc blocking the chese... No pun intended; I hope I manged to explain myself)

I gotta say, one of your best yet! The shaping is so smooth and still you got all the curves. fantastic job with the body, and nicely done with the engineering. I know the really big scale cars are not easy to build, and yours puts mine to shame...well done!

A conglomeration of awesomeness! Great lego engineering, loving that castor action :-) It looks fantastic too. I remember your big yellow one of these, and this is better even than that. If you're going to include a bit of Citroen-ness in your cars, I'll start putting opening gloveboxes in mine! This is your best car yet, and one of the very best on the 'pages.
