SU-100 Tank Destroyer (World of Tanks)
A quick build made by taking the turret and part of the hull off my T-34/85 and installing the superstructure and new gun. The superstructure is too high compared to the real tank, so it resembles a Jagdpanther a bit. I am not entirely satisfied with this; but I will not be rebuilding it. This MOC marks the end of my T-34 series. Next: M3 Lee!
About this creation

the SU-100 was the successor to the SU-85 when it became redundant due to the introduction of the T-34/85 mounting the same gun in a turret.

The SU-100 was essentially a SU-85 with a larger superstructure, mounting the 100mm naval cannon.

Awesome! I like the relatively compact design and great use of parts to acheive the right look :-) Thanks for your comment on my patrol boat! I have left a reply for you there. Two more things. 1: It looks like i'll have to check out some more of your tanks some time soon. And 2: I like that button on your main page :-D

Quoting Loek Marcus Great! You should try a Churchill or a T1 Heavy next. Or try the Maus!
don't have enough tracks for the maus :P I'm doing a series, next will be the M3 lee, M4 sherman, and vehicles based off that chassis.

Quoting Alex Sonny Awesomely accurate! the gun mantle is very well made and the gun elevates!
the gun mantlet took me a frustratingly long time to figure out, but I think I am satisfied with the end result.

Quoting manthanboeing MAD Very good, and yea it does look a little high, and M3 LEE is next? WHY OH WHY? i hated that thing every moment i drove it
the M3 lee wasn't that bad, but you had to know how to use it. It has the best DPM of all the tier IVs, but no turret, so it's best used as a close-range TD. And think how good it will get when WG introduces the multi-turret system!

Excellent! You know, with the higher structure, it looks like an SU-100Y. Also lol below, I feel you.

Nice angles on that turret! Not sure about the length of the barrel; seems like you would have trouble maneuvering about, but still, would be deadly accurate! 5/5

Quoting cyberfrank 2010 ohhhh, these tank killers where my favs! good show! it would be cool to see it hunt another tank, or in a city context.
I don't have enough treads :( I don't know how I could make a city dio big enough.

I have to say, not as good as the T-34, but still good. It looks, like you said, alot like a Jagdpanther. But the front panel looks nice so that is a plus. And if the gun is actually movable, that's double plus. Nice work on the T-34 series. Can't wait to see your M3!

Quoting Matthew Sylvan You are right, the superstructure is high, but the nice mantlet makes it up for me. Btw, can it move the gun? It would be a nice feature. Also, once you build the M3 Lee, you can convert it into a Sherman and the the Sherman into a M37/M7 SPG. The M10 and M36 both used Sherman chassis, so the options are almost endless. Choose wisely!
I was planning on making the M3, sherman, M7, M10, and M36 as well as M4A3E8 and E2 off the chassis. the M37 is based off the Chaffee chassis.
