(LOM) The Mythronian Adventurer
I think I really came through with this one. I have never really done landscaping of any sorts before, so this was a challenge for me. The water is a new technique too, so I tried to master that as best I could. The shrubbery is my favorite part, but the tree is lacking, as usual. If anyone here has followed my MOCs, trees are definitely my weak point, but I'm working on it (Not really). ANYWAYS, this is my intro for Lands of Mythron. Enjoy!
About this creation

My character for LOM. You will see more of him later!

One of my companions, taking a dip in the river.

Her equipment lays on the shrubbery.

"Coral technique" comes from Stephen Boe! Give it up for Stephen! *Claps *Cheers
Although this is a somewhat common technique, I saw it last used by him, so he gets credit! Yay!

I know you guys have been eyeing this guy. Check him out at the end!

Who's THIS mystery man?

The “lacking” tree. I really need to work on these more.

The lady, swimming in the river.

This was my first attempt at taking pictures outside. It's a lot more difficult, but I must say it's effective. You can see the ever smexy George Marshall taking a picture with my puny camera.

Fig-less

I really like this picture for some reason.

The pictures really went downhill from here. The sun was setting, so I had to move inside. Please excuse the dim lighting. Thanks!

Here we have our blurry hero, George. Born and raised in the great land of Mythron, he grew up to be one of the awesomest adventures ever to live! In his recent battle with a Blood Dragon, he lost his arm, BUT, because he is so awesome and famous, he had a few wizards construct him a golden arm. It's pretty cool actually, because eit's golden and all. Quite expensive, though. Having done many epic quests in the past years, he has gained companions that he feels are his brothers and, ahem, sister. Maybe not sister, more like really hot companion who friend-zoned you awhile ago. After the King died, Mythron went into Chaos, blah blah blah, you know how it goes. Anyways, as quests became harder and harder to find, the patriotic hero decided he would fight for his land, and take back the land the is rightfully Mythrons! Long live Mythron!

This is Drake. He has probably known George the longest, considering that they were childhood friends. Fresh out of the university, he and George knew that they wanted to be adventurers. They set off to find the many quests and treasures that awaited them. For some odd reason, it was only George who rose to stardom, leaving Drake in the dust. George tried to hold on to their friendship, but Drake had enough, and walked out of George life. Years past since they saw each other again, and, knowing how much they missed each other, they continued on fights monsters, completing quests, and being best friends. Awww, how cute!

This is Emma. Abandoned in the forest as a baby, she was adopted by the elves, raised in their customs and lifestyle. At the age of 18, she left the tree village, looking to find a life of her own. A few years on her own taught her many important lessons, one being that she couldn't wander like this on her own. As luck has it, George came striding through the door, with Drake at his side, looking for a tracker who could help him on his latest quest. The three has been traveling together ever since! Her archery skills and experience in the forest, as well as her being able to speak Elven tongue, she has become an important asset in quests, and in everyday life.

Ithagrash, for short “Ith”, is the party's resident Wizard/Shaman. Trained in the art of Wizardry, he has knowledge of things the average mind couldn't hope to comprehend. While he has training, he learned many elemental spells from the janitor of the school, who happened to be a Shaman MASTER! Bet'cha didn't see THAT coming! Becoming a master of Wizardry and Shaman-y, Ith has become a valuable companion to George, who would rather have an epic wizard at his side (who is very skilled at taking down dragons), than lose another arm.

This is a really good MOC (I'm thinking of the children by commenting here, I dislike kittens =P). I like the water technique you used and the tree is not bad. Do the Elves not were shirts? Or was removing her shirt permanently a sign of her freedom? Too bad she put him in the 'friend zone' : LOL All jokes and other stuff aside this is a really cool MOC! Keep up the good work!

Quoting Dylan Murphy alright. instead of mixing and matching too you can go to http://www.saberscorpion.com for awesome nazi zombies decals. I can`t wait to see it.
I just went out and bought the Haunted House set from Monster Fighters, and that comes with like 6 zombies, so I'll see what I can do with those. And remember, I don't use decals! I'm strictly a purist!

Cool MOC! It all comes together well, and the tree is solid. Realistic tree's are wicked hard to make. I can't do it (yet). I really like the base you made for your minifigs and the story behind them.

Quoting Achintya Prasad Clean lines, very nice creation! The tree could use a little more work (more leaves, a little taller, etc) but still, looking good! When I was doing the photo shoot for my carrier, I ended up using the trunk of an SUV as my light box :-P. Running around with a ten pound ship really made the sweat come out (yeah I'm in shape, talk amongst yourselves!) Anyways, brilliant creation, brilliant photography, definitely a step in the right direction!
Thanks! I'm working on my tree techniques, but they are one of my weak points. Thanks for the long comment, it really means a lot to me. And I hope to take many more steps in the right direction!

Quoting A M Fantastic build! I love the base and though the trans-dark blue looks a little odd to me in such a large quantity, the loose-stud technique works well. The path is very nice, though a tiny bit uniform-looking. Maybe that's what you were going for, though. The foliage work on the shore is very well-done, and the figs are sweet! Great work.
I'll work to make the path less uniform-y next time! And thanks for the comment, it means alot to me!

Well, I just went out and got the Haunted House set from that Monster series, and that comes with about 6 zombies, so hopefully I can come out with quite a few zombie themed MOCs soon, including Deadpool vs. Zombies!

I envy your epic vehicle-building skill! Wanna trade? I gladly would give you my so called "freedom" in exchange for those sweet vehicles! P.S. Thanks for "liking" this!

Quoting Gilbert Despathens I saw the janitor coming! At least, Sir Terry Pratchett prepared me for it. The picture you said that you really liked makes it look (to me) like the tree's shadow look like it was built out of shaded studs on the path- maybe that's why it's special. Why does Emma have one sleeve and no shirt? Complements to both you and Stephen Boe on the coral technique, and welcome to LOM.
Why does Emma only has one sleeve and no shirt? WHY DOES EMMA ONLY HAVE ONE SLEEVE AND NO SHIRT?!?! Well, I'll tell you why! Because the is a FREE COUNTRY, and she can do WHATEVER SHE LIKES! That's why.

Quoting Stephen Boe By coral technique, I meant the brown round bricks in the flower stems. I used that exact same technique in my Underwater City MOC, so I thought you borrowed it. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
Maybe I subconsciously did. Haha! What the heck? I will give you credit, good sir!

Quoting Stephen Boe This is cool! Did you use my coral technique? Don't think I don't want you to without permission, it's okay if you do, just make sure you say who invented it. Anyways, great job!
I'm not sure what your "coral technique" is, but I assure you, I did not get it from you. This MOC is purely from my imagination, and I did not knowingly take techniques from anybody.
