The house is so effective, and the loneliness of the human figure is so poetic. This is definitely art. You have a real eye for these 2d silhouettes.

Quoting David Roberts Wonderful. The mood is reminiscent of my favourite modern samurai films, especially "The Twilight Samurai".
Must check these films out.

Quoting Topsy Creatori (StoveTopCreator!) Do I hear Madame Butterfly in the background? The geisha's wig is perfect, as is the kimono's obi! :)
I liked the way that lego brick jurist naturally formed an obi.

Quoting matt rowntRee Holy cow! The figure is astonishing. The hair treatment and shape of her dress and sash are perfect. Love the blowing grass, nice effect. Very Kurosawa without the arrow through the neck. Great moody piece!
The hair took several attempts to get right, the final solution was fairly simple.

Quoting clayton Marchetti If theres a metropolitan art meuseum for Lego yours would be the main attraction . I know the title of your piece but this reminds me of the wife staring out to sea waiting for her husband to return. I like how you addressed the middle window. Fantastic job.
The image is directly inspired by Kawabata's haunting novel Snow Country (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snow_Country). There is a touch of the The French Lieutenant's Woman in here too.
