About this creation
Far beyond the reaches of the Verillian Empire, over mountain ranges and across vast expanses of desert, is a place as old as anyone can remember. The Sacred Forest is ancient, so much that what is known about it is more myth and legend than fact.
The Forest is nestled somewhere in the southern edges of The Great Barrier Mountains, and it provides all that the inhabitants need. Game and edible plants are plentiful and hundreds of smalls streams cross the landscape. There are few outsiders who have ever made it to this land, and those that have have made this there home.

The houses here are built in the tree tops. While beautiful the forest is as with any forest, full of dangerous creatures and spirits.

A waterfall along a rocky outcrop.

Life under the tree tops.

A domesticated Forest Hyenolf. The people of the forest use these beasts to assist in their hunts, as well as beats of burden and companionship. These animals are strong, fast and extremely loyal to their masters.

A fruit tree...what kind of fruit idk...

A small bridge used to cross the stream

Life on one of the platforms. The people here try to store everything off the ground, and make use of extensive platforms for everything they do. Here you can see a cooking pit and a few tables and bins.

It breaks into five pieces.

The home of the village healer. Apparently he has a fear of heights but he will never admit to it.

Inside one of the treetop houses. Life here is simple so most homes are only a bed with walls. Some have minor other furnishings.

Life in the treetops.

The home of the leader of the village.

What a fantastic build! You really got some great building skills! The only thing to improve is the photography, the photos don't nearly look as good as it looks in real life. The aim is that they look better than the real MOC ;)

Beautyful!!! Very natural shapes all over, only waterfall seems to straight for me compared to other details. River itself is fantastic.

So impressive! It looks amazing from every angle, but the overhead pic with the waterfall is stellar! Nice details added to the foliage too.

Thanks everyone for your support and enthusiasm. I really tried to branch out (no pun intended) from my usual builds and it has been a complete success. As far as pictures go I'm not really good with photo shop so if anyone wants to give me a few pointers on the "white background" thing I may consider using it for my next project, however for this I felt the grass in my yard fit the theme perfectly. Thanks again everyone for the comments and ratings, I'm excited to start working on my next build!!!

Quoting Stephen Boe This is amazing! That is a lot of leaf pieces! How long did it take you to build this?
Thanks! It took roughly two months of building on and off. Part of that time was spent waiting on orders to come in.

Great job! Very nicely made. Very realistically full of detail. My only complaint was going to be that it was hard to see in the center of the moc but then you revealed that it breaks into 5 and so that was solved! Very nice work. Only suggestion is to try photographing it on a plain background next time. --Blast--

Most beautiful MOC of 2013? I'd bet on it. Amazing stuff, and unusual to see in LEGO too. 10/10, and that score feels too low!

Quite a fantastic build! The story is great, and I think taking the pictures with the forest background adds novelty if anything. Keep it up!
