Electron Tower
The Blacktron Future Generation needed an outpost that could serve as both a long range scanner, as well as a planetary monitor. As surrounding space was scanned, the top platform would rotate, providing more details. Maintenance was constantly required, and with the lack of a force field to hold an oxygen atmosphere, workers had to be switched out regularly. Since Electron Towers were often situated far from any other base, a landing pad and Galactic Scout were built with the tower.
About this creation

I experimented with some different lighting in these shots, but I'm not sure how much of a difference it made. I initially had the landing pad raised up almost as high as the base, but it didn't look quite right.

Great! This is one of my Favorite Mocs of yours, and definetely in the top 10 on MOCpages. "How?", you ask? I love it because of the Simplicity! It also has many functions! I love those kind of MOCs. "Thank you!", you say? You're welcome. - Your Pal, Commander Cold.
