About this creation
I stood on the walls of Tomeu. I had arrived at this city at night, and rallied the men I was assigned. Luckily, our side of the walls was not heavily attacked by the Nerougians and outlaws, but we were heavily assaulted by the barbarians. They climbed our walls, and our ranks ultimately fell. Tomeu is the city of Nerouge tonight.

4th wall commentary:

WHOOOOOO! First off, I'm so sorry about some of the write-up mistakes, I was brain-dead at the time, and I couldn't do all that much. So. I have to give credit to what's-his-name for the tile-leave idea. (I think it was Paul Vermeesch or however you spell it. I'm ridiculously happy with the level of detail on this MOC. Not only that, but it stretched my collection to it's limit, I doubt I'll try anything that crazy again for a while 0.o. Heh, anyway, I'm just really proud of this MOC, and it was fun building it. So, Garrett OUT! -flies off in jetpack-

Nice work with that wall. The foliage is looking good. I actually like the lime green on the tree, personally. I think it looks pretty good.

Looks great, Garrett! I for one like the use of lime green. Because it gives the impression of newly growing grass. The yellow house looks out of place though... The tree is great! But the wall needs a few tiles just to give it some more texture. Anyways, Great job!

Thanks for the likes guys!
Quoting Halhi 141 Not bad. I agree with Stephen, the lime green doesn't work, nor have I ever seen it work in a landscape. Bright green or dark green would mix with the green much better, especially if it were more organized. The yellow house also doesn't seem medieval, tan would be better. The wall suffers from being too plain; a more interesting shape and more texture (masonry bricks work well when there is more texture, but they aren't as visible as most other ways of texturing) would do wonders. I also dislike the excessive use of loose pieces on the ground. The tree does look nice though, aside from the lime.
What I said to Steven. A difference in style. You like blends, I like contrast. I do agree on the walls though, I'll try some other texture bricks sometime :)

Wow.. Nice build! I'm taken back by the amount of greenery... I need to order more grass! (Lego, that is.)

Quoting Stephen Boe Great job! I really like all that foliage! The lime green just doesn't fit though in my opinion.
I have to disagree with ya there Steven, I quite like the contrast of the mix of greens I used. Probably personal preference and bias though (not calling that a bad thing, to each his own) After all, who am I to judge a man based on my opinions vs. his? (Wow, I went on a philosophical rant there XD)

That's nice! I envy your large amount of grey. The detailing and landscaping is very nice.
