Mantis MRAP
This is the Mantis MRAP, a made up vehicle that combines different MRAP designs. It features opening doors, turning turret with room for one minifig to stand up in, rubber suspension and steering in the front. Some of the main exterior details that literally "pop" are the windows and the front windshield.

Quoting Brian Carter It looks much better when it isn't multicolored. I absolutely love the angles going on in this model, they're awesome. In addition, it's perfectly scaled.
Agreed. It looks really big for minifig scale in real life, but people have to remember how big this thing is compared to a Humvee.

It has this old and new look to it. what I mean by that is that the engine area reminds me of a good ol' Rolls Royce!

Quoting Disco Chicken Is this supposed to be a armourered car?
Yes, it is Mine Resistant and Armor Protected (MRAP). On my model you can see a slightly v-shaped hull, which gives is the Mine Resistant look.

Quoting JS Can Really well done! Then only thing I would have liked to have seen is a photo or 2 of with the doors, etc. open to show what opens and what doesn't. Also, can you fit MFs inside?
It can fit two minifigs in the front (passenger and copilot) and four in the back. I say "back" because the interior is separated in half due to the turret. I didn't show the pictures of the inside mainly because I'm still detailing it out. I'm planing on building a dio, and this will be one of the vehicles. The rear doors are a 70/30 split, and fold out with the use of droid arms, no real magic there. The tricky stuff were the side doors, as to open them I had to connect them to a half pin which is perpendicular to the doors, which allows them to "slide out" a little.

Absolutely top-notch shaping and detailing.

Great Build. I also would have liked to see some of the moving parts. Dropping the ammo can in the front on one or opening some of the doors. It looks as cramped as the ones I've ridden around in. Too bad there's not enough tan bricks.
