Twilit Dragon: Argorok
Finally, after a completely overloaded summer of travelling, I am able to post this moc. I have actually had this moc assembled for a few weeks now, but I havenít found the time to post it. Now I have the time. Argorok is the seventh boss from The Legend of Zelda, Twilight Princess. Argorok guards the last shard of the Mirror of Twilight. Link must collect all four shards to finish the second segment of the game.
About this creation

A side view of the dragon. This thing is probably the most delicate moc Iíve ever built. I used a rubber band to keep the torso together, otherwise the wings would fall off. It makes the proportions look realistic, though.

The tail of Argorok. The gold/yellow hook thing on the end of his tail it what link grabs on to with his clawshot. Donít really know what purpose it serves the dragon. Club, maybe?

Top view of the tail. A single flex tube running down the middle is the structure.

Argorokís leg. This is actually what I built first. Everything black is supposed to be armor. Throughout the fight, Argorok gradually loses his armor, revealing his weak spot. (which I was too lazy to build)

Argorokís claw. Not actually that complicated, but I think it works.

Argorokís torso. You can kinda see the rubber band in the center.

Argorokís underside. There is nowhere the stand attaches, it just fits in there.

top of Argorokís torso. Another rubber band keeps the wings from sagging. I got the idea from one of Deusís mocs.

Top of Argorokís wing. Probably the most delicate part. Sometimes itís worth it to sacrifice structure for proportions.

Underside of Argorokís wing. Ew.

front of Argorok with no head. This moc involves a lot of upside-down building.

Argorokís head. I created the nose decal myself. I build his head in the closed-mouth position, as I was too lazy to build his purple tongue.

Looking fear in the face.

Riderís view of Argorok. Or maybe Linkís view while heís stabbing the beast in midair. :D

Underside of his head

Full pic of Argorok without the stand. Now you see why I made it.

A reference picture of the actual dragon from the game.

Bonus pic: Hang in there, Link! Use the Iron Boots!

4th wall:
Well, thatís Argorok. Finally had the nerve to post him. I donít really feel like disassembling him for a while, so it might be a bit before I post another dragon. Actually, because I am out of the US, I might not be posting another moc for a while. But weíll see what happens.
Farewell for now!

Awesome. That looks like a really complicated moc. Argorok is one of my favourite bosses along with Morpheel.

Wow, this build really turned out fantastic, it's amazing just how game accurate this is. While I disliked the City in The Sky, Argorok was an epic boss and you have done an excellent job at capturing it in LEGO form. :)

This is awesome! I've never played Twilight Princess but it looks like an awesome game! Judging by the artwork reference pic this is completely accurate. Where are you at outside the US?

Quoting Lego Obsessionist Seeing a Zelda MOC always makes my day. Love how accurate you were. I love the end of the tail particularly- great solution there! The wings could look a bit more natural, but that takes a lot of parts, and you still got the spikes right. Well done on the head, although I think an open-mouth pose would be more recognizable. Well done!
I wanted to make his mouth open, except that that would have made the head a lot mor bulky. again, that would have messed up the proportions. Anyway, thanks for the like!
