31006 Warthog
31006 Warthog tank buster
About this creation
My second alternative for 31006. I am a Little bit mad about aircrafts, so I have come up with this creation, inspired by the American Fairchild Republic A10 tank buster. It is not a particular beautyfull plane, but it is very manouvrable, and agile.

First I have to give Dean 94 some credit for the use of the Windows for the cockpit. It is a great idea to hide most of the window in the fuselage.

Since there were no suitable whells for the landinggear, I made this stand, to give it a flying appearance.

Rear wiev

I wish the 2 axles were divided into 4. How do you hide them?

The massive 30mm 7 barrel revolving gun, capable of piercing almost any armour.

And the coloursceme : 31006

A look inside to reveal the Construction of the fuselage

And here a few LDD screenshots to show it in its right element.

Quoting Nathanael Kuipers Looks great and recognizable! Nice to see how we get inspired by other people their solutions. That window partly hidden really works for planes! :-)
Thanks for the comment. Creativity is of course also to use already known techniques, to build new.

Well done. A great MOC of a great plane. I don't even mind the colours, I know it's difficult for this set.

Quoting Jozsef Venczel Original idea! Great job! The color is a bit odd, bacause the painting of A10 is camouflage. :D
Thank you, the A10 comes in various colourschemes both camouflages and overall grey, Google Pictures shows a good Collection.

Quoting Jack K Nice micro warthog. One of my favorite planes and you captured it quite well with the limited parts of a lego set. Though it's probably not possible with alternates, a more narrow color scheme generally gets more attention.
The A10 is also one of my faorite planes, these turbofan-engines sounds terrific, and it is amazingly manouvrable.

Quoting Achintya Prasad Not bad, not bad. The color is a bit odd, but seeing how you were limited on your parts, it is very excusable; still, a 4/5.
Thank you for commenting, and yes, the colours are not exactly millitary, but that doesn´t take away the fun in Building.
