Medium Scissors Lift
R&K Technologies & Equipment (RKTECH Equipment) Medium Scissors Lift.
About this creation
This is one of my first realistic models. It takes inspiration from some of the lifts I use at work. It is roughly to scale: If a minifigure measures ~6 ft, this lift goes from ~7.5 ft to ~28 ft (floor height). The lift has 3 sets of cross arms. The basket has guardrails, a safety chain, a ladder and controls.

Basket.

Side view.

Partially raised.

Raised halfway.

Raised all the way.

Another view.

Looking down. Long way!

The lower arm simply slides in the slot.

The upper arm also slides in a slot.

Front of the lift with simulated steering arm.

I have plans and ideas for several more sizes and types of lifts, as well as some other construction equipment. Coming soon!

Nice build. I don't really have anything to say because there isn't anything more or less that you need to do.

Nice... you really nailed the realistic approach! Ah, I see Otiosus left a hate comment.. I guess he just openly hates.

Quoting Deus "Big D." Otiosus A minifigure would imagine it is about 180 centimetres tall (not your 200), which is confirmed by the length of one's foot, which is uniform amongst minifigures, making it a realistic measuring unit - which has absolutely no need to be shorter than it is. Your measurements are off.
LEGO minifigures are already way out of proportion. And LEGO bricks pretty much require that you use imagination. So if I say my minifigures are 6 feet tall and base my measurements on that, that is my business and my imagination. Just use your own imagination, do your own thing with your own creations, and please don't leave negative comments about measurements. The model is what's important, not the measurements, so please try to leave constructive comments about the CREATION.

@Deus: That's it? Nothing positive? Ok then... I think you did a great job with the lift, I love the way it slides. :)
