F-15 Eagle
CF-115se Eagle. Another "what if" aircraft. If Canada were to choose the F-15 as its next fighter this is what it may look like. Feature would include breaking parachutes in lower two tail fins (see rear picture), meteor missiles, probe in flight refueler ( slight bulge, three stud flat piece) on the upper left wing. The colour scheme is interesting, I had to use this blend because of available pieces. It works though. I love that I used two "claw" pieces on the top of the tails, considering this is an Eagle......UPDATE I had to disassemble my CF-115, but I had blue and white around so voila! A JSDF F-15, possible blue diamond squadron. No drag shute or drouge flight refueling......

Considering the size and proportions, I'd say you did an outstanding job.

Quoting clayton Marchetti Achintya your giving him a 4/5 for the canopy? We don't get a lot of choices of canopies from Lego in the first place, and the f-15 eagle has a high profile canopy to give the pilot one of the best 360 views of any fighter .Won't you please reconsider?
Thanks Clayton. I find the nose sections the toughest. If anything the canopy should be 2 to 3 studs longer. I like the challenge of using their pieces though. If everything was exact, my as well buy a Monogram model kit.....

Quoting clayton Marchetti Yeah , I just always thought you were shooting more for Lego town scale is all.

I like it a lot! I like F-15s and F-14s. I think that if you modified it a little bit, then it could be a F-22. Nice work!! Keep it up!

Your Minifig planes are really great. This one in particullar, regarding the silhouette from underneath. The overall impression is, that they are a little cartoonish, but still easy recognizeable. Keep up the good work.

Excellent build, very recognisable. The tail fins are especially accurate.

Quoting Achintya Prasad @ Clayton. Well, its not so much as how tall it is, rather, I don't feel that this plane is in minifig scale. Mind you, its not a big deal, I just feel that it slightly takes away from the excellent wings and tail.
He is right, its slightly larger than my Gripen. To go to proper scale, the engines would have been 4 studs wide, and I would have not been able to use the crimson circular engine parts. I was more shooting for a look, not scale per say.....

Quoting Gwain Hammerstad It's definitely an excellent model. However, try using SNOT to build the wings so there won't be studs exposed. 4/5
Thank you. You may want to read my design philosophy on my home page. I would love for you to moc my design with the SNOT wings.....

Nice! I built an Eagle years ago; I found the wings to be difficult to make. I'm not sure about the canopy; I feel it's toolarge, though still, 4/5

Excellent job ! It's funnyjust yesterday I was thinking when you would post a new fighter . I love the air intakes and the curved slope for the leading edge of the wing is perfect and of course the 20 mm machine gun on the othe side. You nailed the wing shape! Once more you created a fantastic fighter!
