USS Cole 1/350 Scale
Yep, yep, I'm back with another ship....
About this creation
Well, before I being, I would like to dedicate this build to the men and women who died in the October 12, 2000 terrorist attack on this very vessel. I salute each and everyone of them, and their dedicated service.

Now, lets see:
Nation Name: Prasad Heavy Industries (yes, a country!)

Defensive Sea Power- oh wait, hang on, I'm not in DA. Whoops.

Right, well, after releasing my carrier, I was literally overrun by a couple of comments that asked me to build a battle group with my carrier. Naturally, I declined at the beginning. But then, I realized how interesting it would be (the only one on MOCpages!) and promptly, I started work on a destroyer.

Here is a picture of the real thing, courtesy of W-i-k-i-p-e-d-i-a. And yes, I think the picture is trustworthy...

Notice how there are two shades of white as the background!

Watch the front of the ship conquer the broad waves of the cheap white foam board bought for 99 cents mighty Pacific Ocean! Yes!

Particularly pleased with how the front came out. How am I suppose to say something funny about that?

Mid-sections-ships-center-area thing. Check it out!

एच को देखो! Hehe....

Overall shot. Its over, and all. All of the over. Over+all. Over to the all power. Yeah.

(insert commentary)

Alright, serious for the moment chaps. The gun isn't, by far, my best work. Though, honestly, you try building one! Yeah. Go on now, try it.

Hmm. Well. Its a view. And its a view of this ship. Uhm, well. Bass drop!

Check this, check this, check this:

See, the garage doors do move! Never mind those two little plates nearby; its just something.....

You see, Prasad Heavy Industries is very high budget; I rented an Air Hogs helicopter to get this shot!

Wait, what is that next the ship? Must be part of leaf or something....

This picture is brought to you by the word: OHMYGOSHANOTHERSHIPPRODUCEDBYPRASADHEAVYINDSTUSTRIESLETSRUNAROUNDANDACTIMPRESSED!

Oop, the carrier rises again!

I didn't feel like finding the white sheet I used during the photo shoot of me carrier. Instead, I used the island in my kitchen. Go on, find the irony....

Yeah, it is kinda small next to the carrier. Though, you know.

I seem to have a habit of these side views. Eh. Everyone has something that sets them aside; I guess side views are mine.....

Alright, finally, one announcement to make. Would you like to know what my next SHIP will be? Well, follow the blue tinged link, here.

Thanks for watching! Bye now! See yah! Maybe later! A beintot. बाद में मिलते हैं!

Wow.

Very good mini scale! Thanks for the comment and the suggestions on my version! Could you tell me a little bit more where my ship is "chunky"? I think I know what you mean, but I want to be sure.

Very nice ship. When next to the enterprise you can tell really just how big it actually is. 5/5

Quoting Halhi 141 To be honest, I agree with Deus, but it looks nice nevertheless. And nice 9/12 tribute.
Thanks. Once again, on this scale, it isn't easy, finding a way to make it all blend. I think you mean 9/11, though :-)

Quoting lone wolf Awesome destroyer! Even in 1/350th or whatever the scale is you manage to keep it detailed. It would be awesome if you got the whole fleet!
Thanks man! I aim to have a complete fleet sooner or later....

Plans? I have too much plans! :D Now you created an escort vessel to your CVN-80 I thought of that too. I have already two ones, the OHP and my Hessen. Maybe i have the parts if i canibalize addiotional ships. Besides that, I have an US-carrier in early build state, another US-Carrier in advanced development (belonging to an era which i didnt saw here any ship) and a Soviet cruiser. But first, while Im still waiting for the last parts (a never ending story!!) of the Big E maybe I upload an digital version of my new INS Vikramaditya (Indian carrier) in 1/700.

Quoting Michael K. Clever tail on the heli, and I love the superstructure details. I'd use wedge bricks to make the bow pointier. BTW nice house.
Thanks, yeah, maybe. I was thinking more on SNOTted tiles, but overall, I feel that it isn't too shabby as it is. Also, thanks; I happen to live there :-)

Quoting Locutus 666 Awesome ship dude! The Arleigh Burke class isnt that easy cause of the sloped walls. I think you managed it the best as with Legos possible. Its also a good addition to your CVN-80 as an escort ship. Both ships together look really awesome!
Thanks Locutus! I found the angles on the vessel a bit too off LEGO's capabilities, or rather with, my supply yards, so I figured this would do. I think I got the main looks alright, so overall, I'm pretty pleased. Do you have plans for additional vessels?

Quoting matt rowntRee Perfect job! It IS the Cole. The distinct tilt of the tower and the front are spot on. She looks spectacular next to the carrier. Quite the fleet you have growing here. Can't wait for the next one. Excellent!

Quoting George Marshall Looks great! Tell me again why you didn't join Decisive Action? You would have been great!
Thanks for the comment! Eh, I mean, a few things told me not to join DA, even though I was personally asked a few times by Michael and Keith. I'm not really one to get into a competition; I feel better building according to my own thoughts than those set by some somewhere else. Also, I kinda didn't like the smiley=power thing (I understand how it works, and whatnot, but at the time, I simply thought it was a popularity contest). Next, I wasn't sure if I could afford the time required to operate all that. Looking back, it might have been fun, but then again, had I joined, I most likely wouldn't have built my carrier, so, I don't really regret too much ;-)

Quoting Wombat The Wise Yet again you have made a wonderful rendation in 1/350 scale, no doubt a 5/5. One thing though, is the hangar to scale? Feels to small to me as I believe the real hangars to be over 6m high (internally). Anyway, amazing work! =)
Yeah, I do think its a little off; but honestly, I tried mounting those bricks higher up, and that looked w*rse, so, I figured to leave it as it is...
