No runway, no problem
Tongoria lacked transport helicopters, so TGAB needed to quickly develop new vehicles.
About this creation
Some things may seem futuristic. It was made for my country, the Tongorian Union in Divide and Conquer II

WARNING! Lots of pictures ahead!

ViC-17
Type: Heavy VTOL aircraft
Place of origin: Banner of the mighty Tongorian union Tongorian Union

Service history
Used by: Air-force of the Tongorian Union

Production history
Designer: Tongorian Aviation Desgin Bureau
Produced: begins in 2704
Specifications
Crew: 2, up to 40 passengers
Armor: carbon nanotubes
Main armament: twin 30mm coilguns
Seconary armament: 2 60mm coilguns
Engine: 1 Micro-fusion cell, 4 1100kw electric engines

The ViC-17’s primary roles are troop movement and battlefield resupply. It has a wide loading ramp at the rear of the fuselage, two side doors. With a top speed of 650 km/h, the helicopter is faster than other utility and attack helicopters. The ViC-17 is among the heaviest lifting New Babylonian helicopters. Among Tongorian helicopters, only the ViC-35 Ostrich exceeds it, although that uses pulse-detonation engines.

After taking off vertically, it turns its engines to achieve high speeds.

Two missile-jamming pos are located under the rear wings.

Side view.

The ViC-17 has a tandem seat cockpit, they are aided by an AI system. A 30mm coilgun is located under the cockpit, to provide fire support if needed, however, there are better suited helicopters for this like the Avalanche

During landing, while soldiers are getting out of the aircraft through its side and rear doors, they get fire-support by one 60mm coilgun each side. Also, one of three defensive lasers can be seen here.

There’s enough space for 40 soldiers inside.

The landing gear is not the best, but hey, at least it folds in.

With 1789 pieces, it is quite a big creation.

Ostrich

Type: Heavy VTOL hauler aircraft
Place of origin: Banner of the mighty Tongorian union Tongorian Union
Service history
Used by: Air-force of the Tongorian Union

Production history
Designer: Tongorian Aviation Desgin Bureau
Produced: begins in 2704
Specifications
Crew: 1
Armor: carbon nanotubes
Main armament: none, 2 defensive lasers
Engine: 4 Pulse Detonation jet engine

Its name came from its long neck, but I really like the look of it.

This pic clearly shows how massive its legs are. Well, it needs to support even 50 ton tanks.

It has a HUGE space between its legs where it can carry Base Modules, supplies and air-drop tanks.

Pilot has a camera to watch over the cargo, this makes it easier to pick up anything from the ground.

In flast flight mode it can reach speeds of 700km/h.

Base Modules

Base Module AT is a 152mm coilgun, a 30mm coaxial, 3 defensive laser and a command room behind it.

A crew of 2 is needed to operate the turret.

Base Module Command Centre is extremely useful, as commanders can response immediately to anything that happens on the battlefield. They can connect to the military Net through satellites to get the latest information.

All modules are bulletproof to small arms fire.

From the inside they command the SAMs of the base and the commander can see the battle on his holographic map.

Base Module CIWS features a Kilo laser turret, used on Tongorian vessels. It proved to be extremely good at shooting down a wide range of aerial targets so it is now used as a ground unit.

Power for the laser is provided by a micro fusion cells. The other is used to supply the base with electricity.

Base Module SAM is missile and radar system. While their radar is a new equipment, the missiles came from the ZERS SAM . Its radar is on a foldable mast so it can be easily carried without any problems with the Ostrich. Thanks to the radar’s position it can detect targets easier if it is located in a forest or in a valley.

Base Module Air Drop Container is multi-functional, it can be set up as a medic-bay, field kitchen or as a troop transport. Ostriches can deploy these quickly without landing, thanks to their 4 boosters that slow them down during descending. They are protected by 4 defensive lasers to ensure landing.

They are quite spacious and can fit as much as 14 personnel in bunk beds.

Vertolet

Type: Light VTOL aircraft
Place of origin: Banner of the mighty Tongorian union Tongorian Union

Service history
Used by: Air-force of the Tongorian Union

Production history
Designer: Tongorian Aviation Desgin Bureau
Produced: begins in 2704,
Specifications
Crew: 1, up to 6 passengers
Armor: carbon nanotubes
Main armament: twin 30mm coilguns
Seconary armament: 6 ATGM
Engine: 1 Micro-fusion cell, 1 500kw and 2 800kw electric engines

The Vertolet is a small VTOL aircraft capable of transporting 6 personnels and giving them limited air-cover with its twin 30mm coilguns and 6 ATGMs. It is easily recognizable by its engine setup, 2 in the wings and one in the nose.

In take off position part of the wing also turns with the engines.

Thank you if you git this far! I psent a lot of time building, photgraphing and then writing up a desrciption, so if you rate it or even comment, that would be gratly appreciated :)

Quoting Alex Sonny This is nice... But I kinda miss those Pov-Ray renderings of yours :D And I'd really like to see these improved to the max and posed as an independent creations. Awesome!
Each picture takes about 3-6 hours, or 16 in case of the Jekatyerina satellite xD Btw, I needed to upload these fast as I'm at war with someone in D&C II, a wargame and these are essential for me.

Quoting Fenrek (Fluffy) Photographing? Looks like screen-shots. Anyways, great builds here and I see you've put a ton of work both into the primary vehicles and the little accessories such as the modules that the Ostrich can drop. It'd be great if you could make an enemy set for this (different colour, style etc.) it would almost build up this great conflict story. Great builds anyways, keep it up :)
There are plenty of possible enemies in Divide and Conquer II, the group which these were made for. http://mocpages.com/group.php/22081

A variety of interesting solutions, as well as great builds. I have made plans for heavy lifting aircraft similar in concept to the a pelican dropship, as well as a version of the air dreadnought designed to move the Monolith MMAC, if I ever finish it! They will have to be mini scale though, otherwise I will never Finnish them before the group closes.

Quoting John Stahlman Nice VTOLs! I really like the Ostrich. I have been working on a heavy lift helicopter that can transport modules too. Yours are much more detailed than what I had in mind however! Hey, how about a pic of the Ostrich with a module attached?
I can try again, but when I imported a module LDD froze. I will try nonetheless.

The ViC-17 carry as much troops as a Chinook and yeah if you shoot out an aircraft's engine they tend to fall down.

First of all, grr, you beat me too it. I have been working on something along the lines of your ostrich for about a week now, but i am having trouble with the modules. Secondly, the ViC-17 just screams dangerous to me, if that thing goes down, you lose alot of soldiers, also it is fairly easy to take down, all you have to do is hit one of the rotors or "wings" (although this is easier said than done). Also 1789 pieces is not that huge (at least to me) Lastly the Vertolet is amazing, enough said.
