Fantastic Four - The FANTASTI-CAR a REED RICHARDS ORIGINAL
The Fantasti-Car is a flying car and the primary mode of transportation for the FANTASTIC FOUR. Several versions have been created by Reed Richards (MISTER FANTASTIC) their leader. The first Fantasti-Car, debuted in Fantastic Four #3, March 1962 Was an oval shaped flying car which could split apart into 4 sections (one for each member) that could be piloted by each. This model was the inspiration for all later versions. It was stored in the FANTASTIC FOUR'S apartment building: The BAXTER BUILDING when not in use. Because it looked like a bath tub it was modernized and in the new version Johnny Storm (the HUMAN TORCH) had a hand in its design, since he was a race car driver. It now had VTOL devices and was powered by turbo-engines (soon to come in my MOC).It was seen in both the 1967 TV Cartoon and the 2007 Movie. I opted for the GRAY SEATING of the 1962 FANTASTI-CAR since the burgundy seating was in the later VTOL version. NOTE: I am sharing my instructions with you in the next MOC! I also showed it in use with a "story" on the FANTASTIC FOUR vs. DOCTOR DOOM! I included my research pictures as well! I am sorry to report my INSTRUCTIONS for the FANTASTI-CAR were removed.
About this creation

This was my inspiration, he wanted $24.99 USD for the instructions, I could not afford it so I studied it and came up with my version based on his, some changes were made and flat tiles from my inventory were used in place of his. NOTE: following this MOC I am doing another: The INSTRUCTIONS! I did them and posted them 57 viewers but BARON SAT the original designer of my MOD wanted me to take them down, they were removed! :(

Quoting Chris Tolworthy I love it! I don't suppose you've ever thought of doing a Lego version of the cover to issue 1? I run an FF fan site with a large collection of tributes to issue 1 and I've been looking for a Lego version for months. http://zak-site.com/Great-American-Novel/ff-tributes.html
I like the challenge! I already have it planned in my mind (a good place to start)! Give me a bit of time. Check back here on MOCpages and LOOK for FANTASTIC FOUR #1 for Chris! I liked all the take-offs! I'd love to be included! And I agree: "IMITATION is the sincerest form of flattery!" Too bad the creator of the original Fantasticar didn't agree - I could keep this BUT not the instructions of my version! GO FIGURE!
