M.O. Round 1 - Aquarius Plumbing
"The 12 Signs of the Zodiac." You know... Leo, Scorpio, Gemini and so on. Choose any ONE of the 12 Zodiac signs and build a moc incoorporating that ONE sign into it. (in case you haven't noticed, you're only allowed to choose ONE of the twelve signs). No size limits.
About this creation
This is my modern day water bearer. Sort of a whacked out version of the zodiacal sign of Aquarius for the MocOlympics 2013 . Enjoy.

Da glyph

Da name. "Bearing water since... You tell me, man. I only work here."

Da water

More o' da water. Bubbley!

Da faucet. Water jugs are sooooo last year.

Da Greek. Gotta love the umlaut.

Whoops! Pardon me. Too much feta.

LEGO WATCH!!! Hope it's water proof.

Awwww. A face only a muda could love.

"Yeah, yer good to go buddy. You'll get a bill in the mail. I suggest you pay it!"

Let me know what you think.

Thanks for stopping by, and, as always, play well.

Thank you Stuart. I'm not quite sure how it seeded so high, but I'll take it. Shaping up to be an interesting MO. Good luck with Shifu. ;)

I ll try to build a Zamboni with a funny scene dedicated to you when I have time, you made me laugh so much! thanks Matt!!!
LOL I'm actually a Pisces as well. I just had a nutty idea for Aquarius. XD I can't wait to see what you build with Chewy, he is a very underutilized addition to any moc. I actually thought about having him hanging on the faucet or surfing the waves. Next time perhaps. ;) Thank you Cyberfrank.

Quoting Delatron 3000 Lots of fun, great building with clever ideas and a range of techniques demonstrated, a non-linear take on the category and good laughs - for me that is the ideal way to start the contest. And, not a whiff of controversy. Just Feta..... Very good luck Matt.
Thank you Delatron. Just saw your entry as well, wicked cool! I have this weird click in my brain that requires me to inject humor wherever possible. Sometimes even when I shouldn't. =] Good luck to you as well, I think this'll get fun!

Quoting LukeClarenceVan The Revanchist Haha, brilliant. I really like the concept, and the build is good. It's not stunning, but it's clever and effective. I think his shoulders are a bit blocky, but his face has much character and the use of the LEGO watch is pure win. Great faucet too, and I like that you built waves. Good stuff mate.
Thank you Luke. I love good constructive feedback like this. I agree with you about the shoulders (my wife does too.) Felt he was not going to be in proportion anyways, more goofy that way. I could have extended his chest out to fit the suspenders and that would have helped a bit. Didn't want to redo the lettering, AGAIN. ;) Thanks again.

Thank you Sam. The bubbles were fun and frustrating, I'm not as dexterous as I used to be. As for the fart bubbles... Well, I've always preached that it's never too late to have a happy childhood. I guess I never really grew up. Doubt I ever will either. ;) Except for the fact that I ache a lot more.

Quoting Heath 'kik36' Flor Brilliant! Now this is what the MOC olympics SHOULD breed...not maniacal Christian fanatics! Not only did you capture unique facial features using a very low piece count -- animating him for our joy -- but the suspenders are spot on. Oh and the real LEGO watch....genius! Great work my friend!
Thank you Heath. Knew that you'd get it. Linda and I had the idea towards the beginning, but I never realized how off pudding the whole idea of the zodiac would be. It became imperative to be as non theological as possible just to be somewhat enlightening (Odd bed fellows there.) Works for me, glad it works for you. Thanks again my friend.

Quoting Leda Kat =^..^= This is brilliant! The whole dio is really well made and such an out of the box idea which should score high, but those eyebrows and the mustache are the just the winner. Great originality on this, good to show people how you don't always need to get so hung up on the literal meaning of categories, just a little imagination and artistic creativity and you've made it your own. Its always hard to tell with non minifig scale builds just how big they are with nothing to reference, but seeing that watch in there I just have to say: man that thing is HUGE!!! Have you really got that much blue?! Jealous much.
If I had a nickel for every time I've heard, "man that thing is HUGE!!!" I'd have... A nickel. XD Wait, that's not funny. Thank you so much Leda for pointing out that ALL of this is for fun. Literal meanings and belief hang ups are a highly discouraging start for the MO. Hopefully a bit of humor and outside the box thinking can jumpstart things proper. Thanks again Leda. And, yes, I do have that much blue. I am not right!

Quoting clayton Marchetti Wow! This is fantastic! I love all the symbology from the pipe the hat the company name is great by the way it gives you great placement in the yellowpages! :-) . Love the fart bubbles!. Love the plumber's face, reminds me of the Swedish chef from the muppets I hope this is not a self portrait! :-) If so he looks more like a Greek god! I really like that valve wheel very clever indeed. Awesome entry brother! Good luck.
Thank you Brother. He looks more like my identical twin Zartan. Huh? XD I tried cramming as much symbolism in as I could, but I wanted everyone to have fun looking at it. I should have called it AAAquarius Plumbing for the best placement. ;) It should also frighten you to know that I sing the Swedish Chef's song several times a week. Go 70s! Yeah!
