R.O. Round 2: Stopping Through Woods on a Snowy Evening
Never thought I would be building poetry...
About this creation
Stopping By Woods on a Snowy Evening
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
*Fun fact I actually had to memorize this in 3rd grade...and can still recite it...never understood why.

Nice work! I like the snow effects throughout and the choice of a SNOT base was good. The footprints are awesome. The pine tree could do with a few more grass stalks, in my opinion. 2 points.

Quoting A. Sargent Haha, thanks! I'm flattered! I'm also not sure if everyone will do that, I just feel bad a lot of the time when someone says something that I should have realized before. :)
Haha don't worry about it. Thanks again

Quoting A. Sargent Well, yeah, good point. Well, that makes it more realistic. 2 points, which don't worry, is about all I assign anyways. Well done.
Thanks man. You guys are such great judges, willing to reevaluate a MOC if asked.

Quoting A. Sargent It's all right. For the following rounds, I will actually be explaining myself. I'm not a fan of the trees, they could be a bit more well executed. I realize that there wasn't much time, either, but it does seem a bit bland. 1 point.
You mistake blandness for cleanliness and a simplistic serene approach to the poem. When did a field of snow ever strike you as dynamically exciting?
