Reading Olympics Round 2 Parting Of The Red Sea
My entry for round 2 of the Reading Olympics. This is my first ever biblical MOC so I am very pleased with the outcome. Enjoy!
About this creation
The Bible: A classic literary work in its own right, the Bible is a famous religious text with a plethora of potential scenes to build. So build one!

Link to Reading Olympics

Link to story summary though in my opinion is uneccesary becuase everybody who has read the bible should know it.

Out of all my MOCs on the 'pages this is one of my favorites.

Here we can see Moses sticking his staff in the ground with his siblings Miriam and Aaron behind him.

Side shot. I won't be providing a pic of the other side since they're basically the same. :P

Back shot.

I love this pic. It really shows the split in the sea.

Another shot of the three siblings. The rocks I am not as satisfied as the rocks in the sea, but I was running out of SNOT bricks.

Well done on this classic scene. I agree that the figs should look older, but that's fairly trivial. I need to get around to doing a biblical build one day.

Quoting Stormjay Rider This was my favorite R2 entry. I like the way you split the water (though I imagine there was now water at all in the middle). One thing that nags me, shouldn't the minifigs look older? After all they're 80 years old or so at this point.
Thanks. I don't know about the minifigure's ages or their looks, only the moc.

Awesome work. The rockwork and ground texturing is fantastic. I especially like the trickles of water in the sea-split and the slight height changes on the ground. The water itself is brilliant, and the figs are great. A very epic 3 points.
