M.O. Round 1: Long Lost Gemini
The Gemini!
About this creation
My entry for the 2013 MocOlympics!

Category:
"The 12 Signs of the Zodiac."

You know... Leo, Scorpio, Gemini and so on. Choose any ONE of the 12 Zodiac signs and build a moc incoorporating that ONE sign into it. (in case you haven't noticed, you're only allowed to choose ONE of the twelve signs). No size limits.

Opponent:

Symbol:
The Gemini

I know, it isn't much. :/

Well. Let's get to point then, shall we? It sort of stinks.

It was a bit of a last minute entry, as I was busy with school.

Anyway, the description.

After 50 years of searching, Luke had found him. After learning from his dying father when he was 12 that he had a long-lost brother, Luke had spent the rest of his life looking. He had finally come across him. Apparently his twin, Ian had been searching as well for Luke. Now, at age 62, he had found him. His long lost twin. His Gemini. Ian.

[Names - find here, and here.]

God bless, and good luck to all!
~Andrew

Wait, what? ;) Haha, nice work. I like the figures, they're nowhere near realistic, but it works for this style of build. I think that the landscape is a bit rough though, I see big plates unmoderated by small ones creating large right angles, and since the figures are brown and grey I think a brighter landscape would have helped make them stand out. All the same, cool build.

I agree with Evan, the figures do look a little creepy - but I like that! nice landscaping too. Good luck with the judges.

Nice landscaping, but to be honest I don't really like the figures. The legs seem awkward and wide, the arms are too gappy, and the heads are too flat. Torsos are excellent though, and like I said, the landscaping is fantastic. Good luck.

Brilliant! I love the path and the texturing throughout. The crooked tree is excellent and the figures are quite nicely done. It might have been better to make them wear different outfits, but nevertheless, stellar!
