Nissan Skyline GTR, aka Godzilla. Featuring a 6 cylinder, twin cam, 2.6L, twin turbo engine.
About this creation
As always, I fail at photos. Black is also difficult to capture. It looks pretty good in the flesh (I think so anyway). I don't like the rear very much (the section behind the rear wheels and under the rear bumper). I may change it... or not :-P

Using the flash shows the intercooler and the grilles.

Don't see much when it's black and no flash is used.

Clickits make perfect Skyline lights. Bricklink seller was only selling them in batches of 50... wtf am I meant to do with the other 46 of these things?

I actually bothered making the rear seats. Something I don't normally do!

Interior features bucket seats, 3 pedals, gear shifter, handbrake lever and various gauges and vents. Not that you can see most of that in this photo. Trust me, it's there!

The RB26DETT engine.

Here it is along side the R30 I built a while ago. I think they look good together.

Thanks for looking. As always, higher res photos are on my Flickr page:

Quoting Alexander Paschoaletto I really like the rear, for me this is what makes this car so special. you got a great talent and I wish to be as good as you :D
Thank you for your kind words Alexander. You're a great builder and I often look to your (and many other people's) models for inspiration. Your R35 GTR was especially inspiring for my latest build which I will post pics of in a day or so. Thanks again!

This is really good, and I think your solution at the rear is fine. Nice work.

That's fantastic! Probably one of the best Skylines ever made, considering you've got the taillights done up properly.

Thanks mate, I appreciate the tips. To be honest I'm not really after big likes/comments. While it's nice to get them, I mainly build models as I enjoy it, plus I also display at various shows so people get to see them in the flesh, which is always better than photos. I will try to improve my photography though.

Brilliant. I really like how you created the arches/body kit. Nice interior too. As you say black is always difficult to photo. Natural light (not direct sun light) is the key. I have recently moved house and still trying to find the best place and time of day to take photos (my last 5 mocs are not my best photos due to this. I find a large window with as much natural light, set the moc up in front of the window (with white or coloured card behind) at a slight angle to create contrast. Make sure you (as the photographer) do not block the light (or cast a shadow) on the moc. This should improve photos. Put your camera on macro (close up mode) and turn off the flash. More advanced techniques - Use the 'manual' setting to increase exposure and play with the 'depth of field'. I Hope you take this the right way Sam and find it helpful. I do not always get it right and it takes me ages to get good photos. This is a crucial stage if you want big views/likes. Experimenting is the key.

Quoting Aaden Hughes Ohhhhh yeah!!!! Man, this is an absolute beast! I love BNR32's and you've perfectly replicated one! I love the body shape and the RB26dett, it's spot on! Outstanding work mate, I've been eagerly waiting for you to post this bad boy! Is this the only BNR32 that's been made out of LEGO?
Cheers Aaden! I had looked around and couldn't find any other Lego R32s; everyone seems to make R34s and R35s. I wish I was a better photographer though. I will check out the CCC contest page, thanks! :-)

Also... You should add this to the CCC's 2nd Official Contest, it would be an excellent entry! The link is http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/22981. Once again, fantastic work mate!
